I think some of you guys need to focus on reading instead of complaining... He said it was a steal in comparison to the rest of the titles in the Summer of Arcade, which are all 1200 MSP.
And as always, I'm not going to discount the game before I've even tried the demo. It looks like a decent game, but I've bought alot of arcade games recently... |

| a steal? are you freaking kidding me? I guess in terms of how Microsoft deems it to be far to charge us 1200points now that it has become the standard but its still a bunch of bull crap. What ever happened to 800? Marvel vs. Capcom is easily worth 800, hell I can get it for much less on my computer so whats the point? Achievements? Yeah they could put this on ds, charge 30 bucks, sell a bunch of copies and noone would bat an eye at the price. They did it with peggle.
The 5 dollar price should be only for quick, not enhanced ports of old games. Much like the genesis and original arcade titles. (pac-man, galaga etc...)
People had to come up with an idea and make a game from scratch and you people complain about 10 bucks. Just don't buy it if you're that hard up for money. As a matter of fact why don't you people trade your 360s in for ps2s, there's lots of cheap garbage on there. |

| Unlike some posters above im tired of seing the xbox live arcade full of "New Games" I mean this should be just a service of old games coming back like what they did at first. Why i would like to play new games with low graphics due to the fact that they are small games for xbox live arcade. I actually just bought The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition for 800 MSP, so I will be playing that this whole week.
Now I must save my points for Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Shadow Complex, because they will be the best Arcade games for sure. I still love Battlefield 1943 though, I play that everyday. |

Still a lot of people crying about an extra £4.50 for their XBLA games. Look, games like Shadow Complex, Battlefield, Splosion Man, these are not slightly polished ports of retro classics. They are original titles, developed from scratch. Hell, even Turtles has been built from the ground up. That means proper development teams, proper budgets, the works. 800 MS points on a game with a development cycle like this would mean the dev's themselves get diddly squat in the way of return for their efforts.
So please, instead of whining about prices going up, think about WHY. I'm not saying their aren't any rip offs (MvC2 I am looking at you), just consider the whole picture. Hell, just skip a Big Mac meal each week, or a pint and some chips, and viola! There is your extra £4.50. |

Thinking about picking this up, to be fair. Saw it at E3 and it looked like an easy game to pick up and play, but it was fun aswell.
I'll wait some more time. Hopefully it will get a price cut down to 400MP. And guys, and gal(s), you can't complain. Xbox have given us loads of things like 1vs100 and XBL parties, if you had a PS3, you would have much more thigs to complain about. And ermmmm....

Why are the same people saying "It's only $5 blah blah blah get a job" are calling MvC2 a rip-off? Feel free to go on eBay to pay $80 for a used copy since money is obviously no object to you.
You can only get 1500 and 3000 point cards in Australia, so if I just want one game (in this case, MvC2), that's $35AUS just for the card. $50+AUS if I want the 3000 points. When i'm paying $98 for 12 months of online, on top of all the other shit I need to support my life, then yes, $35 is a lot of fucking money.
I can understand that devs need their pay, but will you still emptying your wallets when games start going up to 1600? What about 2000? |

wow, can people really not leave a comment about splosion man and not a turtles port, that game was piss easy and i'll get the other turtles game if i want 4 player.
it looks like a good platformer, definitely not as hard as n+ but i hope it gets challenging. co-op is always a welcome addition in any game.
oh and 800 is called a deal because any old crap can now be put at 1200 and people will still buy it in droves. this could easily have been 1200 and made the pricing consistent but it isn't. 800 will become the norm again when people stop buying expensive map packs and overpriced games which will happen when i can shoot lasers out of my dick. |

i'd much rather be playing re-releases of classic games than these low-res 3D puzzle games that keep clogging up XBLA. there are HUNDREDS of titles from the late 80s, early 90s that I would gladly fork over 400, 800, 1200, etc. points to play. a lot of arcade games never got ported to consoles back in the day because consoles were so inferior, and now that I can easily run a perfect port of Final Fight, Aliens: Arcade, or Time Killers - they're nowhere to be seen!! if I wanted to play a bunch of hogwash by some no-name developer (which eats up precious hard drive space), I'd head over to the XBL Indie game section.

10 bucks isn't that bad. Games that are $15 usually are overpriced like Castle Crashers and the future TMNT game.
A Flash game with some bells and whistles and a rehash of an old game aren't worth 15 bucks. 10 is a legit to ask for anything new thats out now and 5 for classics. Only a few games are worth the 15 dollar mark but sadly game creators know dumb gamers will let them charge us the extra 5. Don't complain about 800 ms points it shows a company isn't trying to take advantage of the stupid gamers. |
