I don't see how most of you haven't heard of TMNT Turtles in Time or Marvel Vs Capcom 2...
I'm getting Turtles in Time and MvC2, might get shadow complex, depends on the trial. I just hope MvC2's "custom soundtracks" are like Mugen where you can have your own tracks on stages. |

| Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is a steal for that price and is arguably the best fighter ever, that game retails used for over $50, then I'm really looking forward to Shadow Complex which is said to have over 10 hours of gameplay and looks like a great shooter to come. |

Wow. That is a lot of 1200's. I would have picked up TMNT if it had been 800, but that's too much for a game I've essentially already played.

I'm not much of an arcade person, I've actually only purchased one arcade game, Cellfacor PW, which was awesome. But getting MvC2 seems like a MUST!!! Last i heard the game sells for around $70, and to get it on xbox with achievements for $15 seems like a steal to me.
p.s. i hope im not the only one who feels DLC is getting out of control..for example i have a feeling MUA 2 is holding back some of it's material to later charge us for it via DLC |

| definitely interested in 'Splosion Man. Maw was great, and its by the same people. TMNT is probably a purchase for me too- not fond of the price, but since they actually re-made the game instead of just porting it, its probably worth the price. |

| I'll be getting MvC2 and I was going to get TMNT but after seeing the 1200ms point mark up. It's just not happening, A beat'em up game with nothing but a graphical update is not worth 1200. If anything it is more worth 800. So yeah I'm passing on my all time favorite. Thanks a lot Microsoft. |

TMNT3 for $15 just because of updated graphics when there was nothing wrong with the old stuff? Fuck it.
I've still got MVC2 on Dreamcast, so fuck paying $15 for "graphically upgraded stages". All they do is take away from the non-upgraded 2D fighters anyway!
I won't resort to cries of "Fuck you, you greedy motherfuckers!", because I know people need to get paid, especially in this shitty global economy. I'll just keep my money, thanks. |

| @40 how was it a ripoff? the extra levels were 100 MSP, and if you actually followed what the devs were saying, they were NOT actually "deleted" from the game and released later as DLC, they were designed after the fact and the devs thought it would be funny to call them "deleted scenes" so that they could be inserted into the middle of the main storyline, especially since the end of the game is pretty final. If anything, the Maw is one of the few games that did DLC right. |

I'll be picking up 'Splosion Man and Shadow Complex and giving the rest a miss.
I'm not sure about Trials HD and Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is well worth $15 for fight fans, but I think it's a bit much for the Turtles games, especially since going by the screenshots I've seen the "updated" graphics look like ass. |

Lol 1200, I thought they'd wait til 4th quarter to gouge us with 1200 across the board, guess they were tired of waiting. Can't wait for 1600 and 2000 across the board... I'm not buying em above 800.

| you know, there are some great games on things like the iphone that are 5.99 or even .99 cents, and then you come here and there are some games that are just as good, maybe slightly better and your lookinh at 15.00 bucks, just doesnt make sense to me. maybe it's the smaller user base, or maybe the fact on something like shadow complex, they use unreal engine when they didnt have to, will still buy that game, but i WISH i could talk with my wallet and not support the high price. |

Can you see what they're doing? They're upping the price of Xbox Live games as time goes on without adding achievement. it used to make sense $10 = 200 $60 = 1000, but now the scale has been tipped in favor of retail games. $15= 200

#72, It's not costing them anything to use the unreal engine. It's being made by the people who made undertow and EPIC owns them.
CliffyB said it wasn't going to be less than 20 bucks so we'll see if that 1200msp price changes.
I'd still pay 1600 for that game. It looks every bit as good as the ds castlevanias and they were 30 each. |

| I'll definitely pick up MvC2, but I'm going to hold out on the rest. Shadow Complex looks interesting, but I want to see more gameplay and read some reviews before shelling out points. 'Splosion man looks fun and all but I'd rather have something I can play repeatedly and with my buddies, so MvC2 takes that cake. TMNT just looks outdated, despite the fact that it's been completely redone graphically. I'd rather save my money so that I can see the new live action film when it comes out (as has been rumored to be in the works). |

After Monkey Island Secret Achievement Edition I think I wont be getting another "new" arcade game for a while.

Well 1200 for MVC2 is a bargain if you look up the ebay prices and the TMNT Remake is also great, because it's 3D and not just a lazy remake.
But the rest? I'm kinda interested in Trails, but 15 bucks...I'll wait for the demo |

With most retail Games at $60 why would I waste money right now on Arcade Games, especially at these prices. I need to save $240 just for Batman, Modern WareFare 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and Halo 3 ODST.

Jesus....Seeing this article has ruin my day. Microsoft is getting out of control. This is a perfect example showing that they do not care about the recession economy.
TMNT is way overpriced. I played the game at the arcade and i do remember finishing the game in like 35-45 minutes. I was expecting this game to be at no more than 800 points because of the "enchanced graphics" that look like shit. They have to include the original 2D verison with this otherwise it not worth the 1200 points.
I think the reason why Microsoft did this is because the game is an xbox live arcade exclusive for a short peroid of time since ps3 doesnt get the game until "later this year". This is sad really. Wait until the game come out on ps3 and see what happens. If still at price at $15 then wait unti |

Am I the only person who understands why the prices have gone up? Guys, these Arcade games we are talking about here, bar maybe Marvel vs Capcom 2, have been specifically developed for XBLA. They aren't straight ports, they are actual games now as opposed to the tat we used to get. As such, bigger teams are needed, and so the production costs in general go up. Someone mentioned Worms @ 800 points was a bargain, but that was literally an HD reskin of a 10 year old game, reflected in the price.
Turtles in Time is a classic, still have it on my SNES. The job they have done on that looks ace, but I just got Battlefield, so I'll probably wait. Definitely going for Trials HD and Shadow Complex. |

| Trails HD and Shadow Complex for me, i like the re-made old games, but not when they charge over the price for them. I've had a 360 since launch day and the early "rule" was that re-made games were 400 / 800 and brand new titles would be a bit more, which to me makes sense as a lot more recent work, which they haven't already made a profit off of once, has already gone into them. My one exception to this rule will be Monkey Island if it is more expensive, it will be the best title on Live Arcade and easily the most important re-make this summer. |

I don't particularly care what reasons they have for the price increase, when arcade games were coming out at 800 points, they started jacking it up when Braid was released, then they just had it as a trend, now some come out for an even higher price, its absolutely rediculous.
DLC is even going the same way, eg GTA4 and Gears2 (Dark Corners)
Again, i don't care about their reasoning, they set a standard then pushed over the standard to create a new level that is now fast becoming standard. |

| Will DEFINITELY be getting Shadow Complex. For those on the fence or seem to have no clue about this game, read up about it on this thing you may have heard about called the internet. Easily thought this game would be 1600 points so already a discount as far as I am concerned. This game was all the BUZZ at E3 this year, a bunch of you must have living in a cave somewhere. Was looking to get Turtles but will be waiting for sure now for a discount. |

| @ #193, yup just checked Shadow Complex out via Youtube, looks pretty damn good, I am thinking TMNT4 is way too much but I was a fan of the Super Nintendo Version and it would bring me back. |

This is really sad to see. I want MVC badly but at the same time I want to boycott the price increase.
But if we all didn't then, they would get the ammunition to make this the new "norm" in pricing.
I don't know what to do. I guess that's why those unscrupulous modders do what they do. That or they are cheap, cheating, losers. Idk... |

MvC2 for sure. Shadow Complex good chance. TMNT possible. Trials and Splosion are going to worth a shot.
Also, to people complaining about the price... when games are WORTH it, there is no reason to complain. When dumb games like FLOCK! are released for 1200 points, then there is reason to complain. However, games that offer much more content should be priced at 1200 points. |

| Also I'd like to add that I strongly think that Trials HD will not be worth the 1200 points. But the other games are more than likely going to be worth the pricetag. |

Mvsc2 is a defo for me as i still love and play it now so xbox live online play will just enhance the playability. shadow complex is a likely purchase. im on then fence when it comes to turtles due to it likely having a short life-span like braid, i loved it but it was over far to quickly. trials hd and splosion man will likely give me 10mins of fun each so no.
off topic i may be alone but i actually prefer remakes and classics rather then the games made directly for live. only liked braid and dishwasher as far as originals go. |

I think that the prices are getting a bit ridiculous and Microsoft should stick to 800 or 400 points for games on other consoles and just old games and maybe make the price 1000 for games that are actually good and eventually drop them down to the 800 point level!

| they need to stop making games for 1200 points...unless if they really raise the bar...like battlefield 1943 is pretty sweet...but since so many game shave gotten away with the hefty price more are doing the same...ive only bought like two arcade games that werent on the deals page...way too expensive |

Yall really need to read carefully. TMNT Remake is based on the Arcade version. NOT the Snes version. Meaning no technodrome level, no rat king, no slash, no bebop & rocksteady etc. |

| After further review, I might be broke after this Summer of Arcade series. I just might be getting all 5. Trials HD is the only one I'm not too sure of yet. The demo will have to win me over. |
