| It has been out a bit, i'm guessing the bad reviews led to less than impressive sales numbers, so they're trying to get people with a demo. It might work, i'm downloading it and if it's good i'll buy it, which i never would have done without the demo. |

this game is fundamentally flawed. if you like "driving games" this isnt for you. If you like free-roam then maybe this is what you want.
The driving is terrible, handling of the quadbikes and dirt bikes are absolutely horrific, and more often than not the vehicles stall when going up any sort of challenging gradiant. coming from an owner of both a mx400 and rm250 offroad vehicles, i can honestly say that both the quad bikes and motocross bikes and climb some very steep gradiants. This game, even with the most powerful versions of these vehicles struggle to clumb steep hills offroad.
Oh, not too mention them "invincible" twigs that will send your vehicle flying.
Last but not least, Rubber Band A.I. Need i say more? I had very high expectations for this game, i was really looking |

i like this game, keeps me amused when i goes dark...
i didnt care for bad reviews or flaws, its just something that you play. mind you ive playd a few crap games and still liked them, like velvet assassin. |

| I'll download this right now, and dont take your idea of the game from SkidillyDoo because he also said that Call of Duty was "utter crap" meaning he has awful taste in games and also sucks at them. |

| It's hard to believe that Codemasters would put out a bad racing game. DIRT and GRID are awesome. I them both. Just for the tornado in the background, this game looks sick. I'm going to dl the demo tonight. I was waiting for them to make a Quad / Dirtbike racer. |

@11 "Few random bad reviews" ? What, i haven't seen one review anywhere that said this game was actually good.
Personally i was getting hyped for this game, then read all the negative reviews, a demo failed to appear so i lost all interest, but I'll give it a go now.
As I've said in many posts on many websites, a demo is the best marketing a company can get, the only good reason not to release a demo before / on release of the game is if you now the game your putting out is awful and would actually put people off buying it. |

| @15 same i was so hyped for this game then watched a gameplay video which looked terrible. Then there was all the bad reviews... Then i checked out what other games the makers of this game made and i think was just Wall-E and Ratatouille lol, i am not even gonna bother with the demo. |

| Wow, this game's getting some abuse. It might not be as slick as Burnout or Midnight Club, but I've got it and really like it, I'd definatley still reccomend it. |

| everyone needs to stop reading reviews cause thats what they think.I love this game.There is so many places to go and mountains to climb I could not stop playing it.Every game you play is flayed to a point but that should not stop you from trying the game out.The racing is fun and i like being able to go off road and go where i want to go and not being restricted to a course.Everyone should just try the game and perhaps they will get surprised that its better then most people say it is. |
