BioShock Title Update Today

BioShock Title Update Today
Written Friday, September 07, 2007 by Alan Pettit

If you go to play BioShock today, you will be receiving a free, automatic title update that will fix some of the minor bugs found in the game. No news yet on the rumored downloadable plasmids and tonics.

Major Nelson got word directly from 2K and Irrational, who stated the the "Update improves stability when loading autosaves and overall game stability, corrects audio during title menu loading, and addresses AI behaviors regarding use of health stations."

While this is nothing huge, it may ward off some of the "hiccups" and "freezing" that many have been complaining about.

Thanks to [Major Nelson]

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
