The latest Michael Bay Transformers movie, Revenge of the Fallen, hit cinemas recently to a rather warm reception. The film wasn't bad, in fact, it was pretty decent, but I suppose anything with fighting robots is bound to be. It just didn't have the same impact as the original, that's all.

Seeing as Activision own the Transformer video game rights, a movie tie-in was as almost as certain as the creation of another James Bond movie. Flying into stores last week, we put it to the test. Is this movie tie-in set to over shadow the warm response the film received? Or are we wishing that this time, the robots did really stay in disguise?
