It's good they keep on making new characters to the series. As you have probably noticed, almost all of the characters differ from each other pretty much. I hope we will still see:
*an old native American with white long hair
*a female COG
*more Carmines
*another blonde COG
About the comic, I don't think I will buy it. Nonetheless, it could prove good. |

graphic novels (comics) have a worse rep than video games, yet have a much longer & more vibrant legacy; they border on art still more than video games.
so before you go and knock them, think of all of the ignorant, derisive comments that you've heard levied against gaming, and try to not do the same to comics.
(and #3, learn to spell, or stick to vocal exchanges; your ignorance makes us all look bad). |

I'm a Hugh comic book fan, which is why i hate the Gears Of War comic book, it is a abomination in print, bland typical writing in a comic that is only aimed at fans of the game, with sub-par artwork at best.
For a example of a good video game / comic collaboration you just have too look no further at the Dead Space series, it does everything right where DC are failing. |

I hate when non-canon shit gets in the way of the real story. Like star wars, theres never going to be a 7,8, and 9 because a bunch of authors decided to take over. We shouldve gotten a side mission involving Harper along with the one coming out in july instead of a bunch of stuff written by someone besides the makers. |

calm down, its great u like to voice ur opinion....but ur opinion doesn't mean squat for most people.. yea it lags and it sucks...but those of us who appreciate it love to play it still, regardless. those of us who are tru fans will probably enjoy the comics, they do reveal a lot of back story and fill in lots of missing info. |

First of i read more comics than probably anyone else on this site. with that said most of you need to stfu. the people who are saying it has shitty artwork clearly know nothing about comics because the artwork of a series has nothing to do with how good the series is. i hate such artists such as immonen yet ultimate spider-man is still my favorite comic. its how the art is displayed that matters but you wouldnt know that because ur dumb as shit. also asshole who said he had a mint condition spider-man #1 ur full of shit. so if u dont like comics dont fuckin comment and if you think the comic is shit then have a better reason then bad artwork. |

I dont know why people have to post negatively, even if they do not like the game or comics...I mean I think halo and fable are overrated, but I dont go onto every halo news and starts saying gaylo or failble II, cause that's immature, some people just need to grow up...if you dont like something good for you, no one else cares...I think comic books can bring new insight in games |

I love Gears of War, I've never seen these in the UK though.
Anyway after my last comment on a GOW2 article on this site (defending the game despite its faults) I went to play the game only discover that my rank had been reset to 1.
As a loyal fan this really pisses me off. I have never cheated on any game, never even boosted for achievements, never done anything other than sign in and play. Now can anyone here tell me what the hell that is all about? |
