Rock Band DLC Announced for June 30th Written Friday, June 26, 2009 by Dan Webb MTV and Harmonix continue their long term commitment today towards their Rock Band franchise, and more importantly towards our Friday news service, by announcing next week's Rock Band content. Seven songs up for grabs next Tuesday, June 30th, which can be bought separately or most can be picked up in the form of two track packs. As an added bonus this week, you can also pick up the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's debut Rock Band track, Weapon of Choice. Prices are currently unknown for either of the track packs or the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's track ... but we'll hazard a guess at 160 points a pack and 440 points for the track packs. Just call us clairvoyant. Next Tuesday's addition are as follows: | |

Rock Band has 700 songs, with new ones every week since 2007, many more bands than GH, better syncing of the notes to the music and invented the band play mechanic. Both games have different (and awesome) setlists. As for DLC I want, I'll stick with some 70s and 80s music like Def Leppard and Bon Jovi ("You Give Love a Bad Name" would be awesome),and some metal like Ozzy,In Flames,SOAD,Disturbed,Killswitch,Rise Against,A7X, Black Sabbath (no covers, if possible), and maybe "Through The Fire and Flames" by Dragonforce, and only that, cuz their other songs are exactly the same. As for the MJ pack, it might be possible cuz of his death. If you want MJ, "Beat It" is in GHWT. |
