| Those who feel that a game should be limited to a specific layout or genre are setting up the franchise for failure. From the little they have shown, this game looks to be excellent. | ||

| #8 The only good Castelvania games have been the side scrollers. While it's true that series can break out of a mold and be good (like Metroid) Castlevania has failed every time it's attempted it. Both on the N64 were god-awful. Lament of Innocence was a bad DMC wannabe. Curse of Darkness was mediocre and tried to sell itself entirely on it's director being the same from Symphony. The only good Castlevania games for the last several years have been the GBA/DS ones. And you can't look at those screens and trailer and tell me it looks like Castlevania at all. It looks like a jungle/mountain themed DMC/GoW knock-off. Which is what it probably will amount to. | ||

| Though the side scrolling is best. Castlevania: Lament of Innocence was still pretty good. I think this game will be fun. As long as it has more puzzles and key finding and such. | ||
