Some information is slowly starting to trickle in on the upcoming LEGO Rock Band.  A few of the songs have been revealed, including Europe's epic "The Final Countdown".  You will also take part in Rock Power challenges in order to destroy a giant robot and more.  Also, a new Super Easy mode is revealed for the brand new rockers.  I'm not sure how you can get much easier than Easy mode unless you're only using one button or two buttons, but I guess we'll find out more about that in the future.  Enough from me, though, check out some of the details on the game:

  • Never tried rockband, only Guitar Hero, do you think its worth picking up, and which one? Anyway don't like LEGO games so don't think i will be getting this.
  • What's with all the o's? I probably won't get this. I don't really like music games.
  • Ok guys, now hit em for the thing we all really want to know. Any word on wether these songs can be exported and used with RB2?
  • Might get it. I wonder if you'll get a lego themed guitar
  • @#4 I was wondering the same thing. Would definaitely buy the instrument pack if I could get a Lego guitar!
  • #3, the o's are to mimic the singing of Europe's song "The Final Countdown". This song is the one reason I might get this game....
  • @ #2 Rock Band 1 & 2 are far superior to the Guitar Hero Games. Well.....what are you waiting for? Get out there and buy it my friend! lol!
  • What is the market for this game? Pre-teens? Rock Band is already mostly family friendly.
  • market is everyone as lego is just amazing
  • i dont have any rock band games. rock band is not so popolur in sweden :( but i think i going to bay rock band 2 :D and whay not a lego rock band.. probebly easy achievements :P
  • you can tell it's a kiddy game not because of the legos but the HORRIBLE songs.
  • Fuck the song list, it sucks. Europe rocks BTW!
  • song 2 blur = sucess
  • Vampire Weekend and sing 2 in one game! The only way it could be better is if it had a michael jackson song... Oh wait :-p
  • * Song 2. The song list is fun so far.
  • right on #1. that's all I want to know also.
  • wow. some good songs here for lego rock band. the better the songs, the more i wanna get it. first it was final countdown, then blur, but NOW jackson 5!? truly amazing. and i love lego games :)
  • might pick this up i just hope there are no new instruments cause im tempted to get all the instruments for every music game so far i got some of them anyways...i might get it cause of my little brother
  • Thank God. Super Easy is finally here.
  • #2: 7 said it all. Guitar Heroes 1 and 2 were pretty good, 80's was eh, and anything after was crap. The guys that made Rock Band made GH1, 2, and 80's, and Rock Band is much better than those, and infinitely better than the crap Activision calls "Guitar Hero."
  • Song list sounds goofy so far. I like it. But I don't care about he Super Easy mode or the Lego challenges, I just want to know pricing, the rest of the song list, and how/if the export song function will work.
  • r u kidding me why would u waste ur money on this crap these music games r terrible now they have lost all respect from alot of people who had enjoyed these games the sooner we quit by this garbage the sooner they will quit making it
  • ment 2 say buying above
  • at first it sounded gay but reading that makes a bit less gay!! i wont pay full price though!!
  • @2: If you can only buy one game, get Rock Band 2 and rent Rock Band so you can export those songs into RB2, which you can do for 5 bucks.
  • #24 really mature comment there.Bravo.Back on topic, why do so many people jump on the rhythm games and their spin off's? Are they doing anything worse than Call of Duty 28,Halo 17,Fifa/NBA/NHL/Madden 010 et al? How many times can you shoot the same guy, shoot the same basket and score the same goal.Yet many of us enjoy playing these games and why the heck not.We support our franchises. If making changes and adding things has made the games worse,we really are sitting on a load of crap right now.
  • Can't wait!
  • #1 has basically the only question about this game that I have had for quite awhile...
  • Damn it Lego games i used to hate my bro started buying them and i got addicted to them playing co-op now this but i think harry potter will be the lego game master though star wars is good and batman indy just not much
  • I still can't believe its real
  • "I want you back" bass line is tight
  • While on the one hand I think the idea is stupid, seeing as how you'll be focused on the gameplay rather than the LEGO antics in the background, if they keep the typical LEGO game humor, like rocking out so hard that lightning shoots out of the guitars and blasts a rival band to pieces, I might give it a shot.
  • never thought it would happen though I hope LRB will have some of those on Rock Band 2 for DLC
  • I want to rock out so hard to the final countdown that it will destroy a planet/ robot I'm guessing. And I think that might happen according to the lego challenge thing haha. The list is all going to be kiddy like since its going to need to be E for everyone, but who cares since it'll have some good drums for sure and that's all I care about.
  • fuck lego rock band? lame.... final countdown would be fun if i ever get the chance to play this. what has gaming become tho? seriously? just make rock band three already
  • Awesome a must buy for lego gamer like me
  • Propably the first Rock Band I'll get :)
  • @22 I find it quite amusing that you hate these music games yet have played some of them to death. you could call it achievement grabbing but would you really spend THAT much time on something that you passionately hate so much? i don't think that music games have changed too much from guitar hero 2/3 & rock band, some of the track packs haven't been to my taste but they can't always cater for everyone. personally i'll probably have a look at this if you can export the setlist - even with some obscure tracks or tracks i don't like, there's always 1 or 2 friends of mine that'll want to play them, makes for a better rock band session!
  • I'm a die-hard music game fan, but I really can't see myself playing this one much. If the songs are exportable, I'll probably buy it, get the achievements, export the songs to play on RB2, and never look back. Although I'm much MUCH more excited about The Beatles: Rock Band, and even GH5 (although I tend to like the Rock Band games more) than Lego Rock Band.
  • Just like Comment #1, I just wanna know whether the songs are exportable. Although, this game sounds like it's going to be quite a load of fun. =3 Another thing I wonder is whether they are going to change the display like they did with the Beatles game. It'd be cool to see the colored buttons be lego pieces (since they're rectangular anyway). =3
  • # 37 NOOOOOOOOOOOOO the first RB you should get is RB2, in my opinion.
  • The promo video does look very funny......I just hope that it's more on a par with Rockband than Guitar Hero as bugger me Expert Mode is too hard imo Rob
  • sorry to double post....just realised how stupid that last post is. Of course it's on a par with Rockband (it's a rockband game) Total sleep deprivation is not good. Still really looking forward to this game Rob
  • Breakout = success Final Countdown = success Song 2 = success :D i might get this just for laughs i will consider once i've seen the full set list oh they bring out a lego guitar! would be ace :D all made out of Lego!
  • * they should bring out a lego guitar
  • soo woo!
  • it would be kool if you can make the other lego characters =) like a darthvader playing guitar, or batman singing imo ^.^
  • #47 that would be ridiculous. I'm totally getting this game. The only problem is there are sooo many games on my wish list right now, between this, assassins creed 2, bioshock 2, Cod 6, and odst. I both can't afford all that, and don't have the time to play that many games at one time
