I loved the first one and will definitely be getting this. Pre-order is going down so I can snag me an extra character and I would love to see Gambit even though that isn't gonna happen. :(
So many games this year it's going to make me broker then broke. |

| I said I'd be getting any sequel for this game when I first beat it. I have yet to change my mind. I cannot WAIT to get my copy of this game. Already planned to reserve it. Now I've got another reason to do so. I hope we can at least get some DLC characters (even if they cost money) at some point. I also hope the achievement list isn't rediculous. The last one was well-balanced and required little of casual players and a lot from hardcore players. Here's to hoping. |

the only thing worse than people posting only: first! is when they're even wrong about it.
i am not sold, yet, on this game. i want to be. i love the first one and play it more than pretty much anything, but something about this one (other than the fact that it's not ravensoft on it) bugs me. |

| Nightcrawler definatly would be nice but why isn't prince namor the submariner on the list? he was a huge part of the civil war and is currently involved in dark reign. Punisher would be cool as hell to.I like that deadpool is on the list though. |

I would have liked to see a few different characters, it is very similar to the first list. I could have done without the following
Daredevil
Invisible Woman
Luke Cage
Iron Fist
Spiderman is on the list number 21.
The one I really want again is Spider Woman, but the whole Civil War thing might not let that happen. :( |

Civil War... Thor was a fake, Hulk was gone, Iron Fist was dressing up as Daredevil to clear Murdock. Not to mention there were two opposing sides. I guess it's 'very loosely based on' or 'inspired by' the Civil War arc.
Could use some more variety in powers, rather than so many tanks (Cage, Marko, Banner, Ben, Venom). Also, it'll be weird playing through the Civil War in a team with Cap, Stark, and Hulk all in it at once, unless they have some way of splitting teams up (making you pick a side for the first playthrough)? |

| Some of these character are generic as fuck. I love me some deadpool but where the flying 747 fuck is gambit. Civil war or not, he needs to be in the damn game. His powers are unique and would make for some more diversity in character game play. I do also agree with the punisher being added although he may play a bit similar to deadpool. There are ways of separating the two into their own styles. |

This is pretty stupid. I love the first game and so far this seems like it could be a big piece of DLC rather than another actual game. Granted, the list of characters is good so far, but it is for the most part identical.
I also hope that if they add extra characters later on they also program some bit of logic into it. While it may have been fun to play as Doom or Nightcrawler, it seemed silly that I was rescuing Nightcrawler WITH Nightcrawler. At least they should have taken the relevant characters out of your party for the relevant missions.
Oooh.... and I hope Magneto is back and the Phoenix is included this time =) |

If I can have a team of Wolverine, Deadpool, Doom and Spider Man, then I'm happy.
I'd DEFINITELY love to be able to play as Rogue or Gambit (Rogue replacing Ms.Marvel -- like she should), as then I could get my mother to play as well. xD |

@29 They are going to have you pick a team and then go on a mission and after that mission is when the civil war happens and you have to choose your side.
And then there are certain characters who cant go on a certain side cap for exp. cant go to the pro reg. side where as iron man cant got anti reg. as far as i know its

Has to be anti
Cap

iron fist
everyone else gets a explantion for each side for whichever one you choose |

Just because they are in the trailer doesn't mean they are playable characters. I mean, there were hand fulls in the last game that I wish I could have played as, but oh well. I don't understand why it's so hard to add characters anyway. With todays advanced gaming system, why the hell are we limited to only 20 characters? I could see starting off with 20 and having dlc every month for a new person or a pack of four but wtf? I'm going to buy this regardless but I just feel we're getting dicked around a bit.
I agree with the Punisher fans, he'd prolly be the best character in the game and it's a shame that he's not. |
