E3 2009: Fallout 3's Point Lookout Trailer and Release Date

E3 2009: Fallout 3's Point Lookout Trailer and Release Date
Written Tuesday, June 02, 2009 by Jason Debelyak

We already brought you some breaking details and screenshots of the game earlier today, but we now have the official trailer for the upcoming Fallout 3 DLC, which is titled Point Lookout.  Fallout 3 is turning into one of the best games when it comes to DLC and keeping the game fresh, and they're definitely keeping the game fresh on a regular basis.  Hopefully we'll get some information on Fallout: New Vegas during the next couple of days!

The trailer also reveals that the DLC will be available on June 23rd.  Enjoy!

Looks like Fallout 3 meets Texas Chainsaw Massacre, all we need are some rednecks with chainsaws.

Tuesday, June 02, 2009 @ 08:07:34 PM

@2, Shut up, no you won't. If the game and following DLC wasn't enough to this point, this one won't make a difference.

@43, Shut up too. Maybe it will include Point Lookout, but New Vegas is a seperate game, not a DLC pack. Therefore, it will obviously not be contained on the same disk.

On topic, gonna get it, obviously.

Tuesday, June 02, 2009 @ 08:13:50 PM

at 48, they will release a retail version that include all 5 DLC , it been confirmed and will release in octobre at the same date of Fallout 3 released. Unfortunatly fallout new vegas will not be on that disk because its a different game and been develop by other developper.

On topic, this Fallout 3 meets spooky, mystic deep south DLC pack looks horror-esque, as well as really good, and I can't wait 'til it comes out.

*Sigh* another "collectable" achiev :-(

"Bog Walker.
Discovered all locations within Point Lookout 40G"

At least it's 40G! (Unlike Far Cry 2 - 10G for 100's of ******* ******* diamonds!)

Sill looking forward to the new content, just sick of collectable/visity things :(.

Moo!

This looks interesting, im not looking forward to this as much as Mothership Zeta but it still looks really good, I just dont like the look of the bit at 0:37; more indoors parts with the same filing cabinets everywhere.
I think it'll be worth it just for the double barelled shotgun though.
Also the bog walker achievement cant be that difficult, its not like this new area is going to be huge, it'll just have finding buildings I assume.

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
