#2 is first place douche bag. Madcatz is crap! How are they going to charge more than $30 for any controller they make? They all break within a month of purchase. No one will ever pay $300 for something Madcatz makes. Get real, and while you're at it just get a real Xbox controller.

@2: unlucky u weren't quite first. i think the guitar is a rip-off. I mean the rest are normal game instrument prices, but whats with $300? (since im in UK its lower but still) although i am interested in seeing what these look like.

@#2 - NOT first. Fucking loser.

Personally, I wouldn't buy any of these, with the exception of (possibly) the overdrive pedal. Some people take the game pretty seriously though, and I'm sure they will be more than happy to shell out $300 for a wireless guitar.

Completly pointless and too expensive. Why pay £300 when the original instruments work just fine?

For that price you can buy a real bl**dy guitar, not to mention spending your time more wisely....

absolutely LOVED my p-bass. at this point I can't necessarily justify getting another one- especially since I prefer wired over wireless.

Glad to see they are making wood-body instruments- was thinking about modding my p-bass with a wood body soon. Unfortunately it doesn't look like there will be a wood p-bass yet.

Pass on the OD pedal (and boo that the 1st gen p-bass didn't have a jack for it, maybe the new one will?). All my friends have drum sets- I have 3 myself. and the kick pedal works as an OD pedal already on the RB2 fender.

Glad to see they are making more though. Mad Catz gets a lot of shit for "low quality controllers", but the p-bass was the highest quality fake-plastic-guitar I've played. The cymbals were meh (bad brackets), but I look forward to more from them.

I do like the idea of the overdrive pedal. I see how that could be useful.

Also off topic but which is worse, those that say first on thier post or those that spend there time shitting on the ones who said first?

You would think that the OD pedal would be useful, but I've used one of the third party wireless PS2 guitars that had a whammy pedal and a Star Power pedal. It's more awkward than you think for gameplay, although I guess it makes sense if you actually play guitar with effects.

Anything with a 'z' in the company's name that stands the place for an 's' is obviously going to be shit. MadCatz reallllyy reallly sucks. I bought a controller for the original xbox a long time ago and it broke like a week later.

#19 hits the nail on the head.

I have two real guitars, and they are my worst enemies. On the other hand, these games are fun. So yeah, go join the Army, 16. Getting shipped home in a box will shut your fucking trap.

I don't think this will 'fail horribly'.
I'm on my third 'official' guitar, and the strum bar on each and every single one of them has been absolute bullshit.
Obviously, most of you morons can't read either; the reason it's $300 is because its made of REAL WOOD, and (I quote): "The replica Stratocaster sports the same hardware as a real Stratocaster, including real tuning keys, bridge, tremolo, dials and ¼ inch amp jack."
Oh and whilst I'd like to agree with #25, I have to say, you really are a bunch of fucking morons, and proving the sterotype that the internet's primary function is for people to complain and bitch at others.
Grow up.

@20

Never stop being awesome, laughed my ass off.

I like the idea of a Over Drive pedal, my Les Paul control(which swear by)has always had a wonky tilt thingy and an OD pedal would so help me. Of course I can always just buy a new Guitar Control.. but I just love the shape and feel of the Les Paul.

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
