E3 2009: Alpha Protocol CGI Trailer

E3 2009: Alpha Protocol CGI Trailer
Written Saturday, May 30, 2009 by Dan Webb

It's no secret that I've developed a bit of a soft spot for Obsidian and SEGA's upcoming spy-espionage title, Alpha Protocol. It's trailers like this E3 trailer here that have made it come about ... and of course there is the fact that at the Games Convention last year, the title looked pretty impressive.

Alpha Protocol, due out some time in October, throws you into the shoes of Michael Thorton and gives you a plethora of choices about how you get the job done. With a studio like Obsidian behind it as well, you can't help but let your mind wonder and imagine what sort of title we could end up with. For now, we'll have to make do with the E3 trailer.

I'm not that impressed with the trailer, kind of subpar CGI graphics. Nonetheless I am jonesing for the game, mostly due to the feature in Game Informer last year.

Definitely the first SEGA game I have been looking forward to in years (and might well regret it..... again)

Blarg, I felt stupid for not understanding the Action Man references.

I Googled it out of frustration, and now I get it.

Action Man = G.I. Joe in the states. Damn you otherlanders for making me feel dumb.

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
