Friday, May 29, 2009 @ 11:11:53 AM Bonnaroo is a huge weekend music festival that started as more of a hippy/jam band festival (hence Phish), and has gone on to include more mainstream acts over the past several years (Radiohead, Tool.) It is in Tennessee near Nashville. It certainly has a line-up to rival the British equivalents (Reading or Glastonbury.) This years line-up makes me wish I could afford to go and take almost a week off of work. * Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band * Phish (2 shows) * Beastie Boys * Nine Inch Nails * David Byrne * Wilco * Al Green * Snoop Dogg * Elvis Costello Solo * Erykah Badu * Paul Oakenfold * Ben Harper and Relentless7 * Jimmy Fallon with Wayne Federman * The Mars Volta * TV on the Radio * Yeah Y |

Friday, May 29, 2009 @ 11:16:47 AM #2, maybe by some coincidence those are two different bands that came up with the same name. Anyway, I’ve never heard of this festival, I wonder if it's in Australia? |

Friday, May 29, 2009 @ 11:32:06 AM @2 The story is correct, just a typo in the information. The second C&C is actually a C&C Tribute act, hence the 6 artists..... |

Friday, May 29, 2009 @ 12:31:32 PM Bonnaroo is really a great experience depending on the line ups. I went to the first one and a few years later to see Radiohead. I had a great time both times but it definitely wears you out. Three to four days of camping without trees/shade in the hot summer sun + a ton of smoking will make you need a vacation from your vacation. I met Les Claypool though and got his autograph at the Radiohead Bonnaroo and have a ton of great pictures and bootlegs. I would do it again but, holy shit is it tiring!! This line up does look pretty good though. Is Bruce Springsteen still headlining or was that last year because that is/was really lame!!!! |

Friday, May 29, 2009 @ 02:55:17 PM It's about time they came out with good coheed that was original recordings(I'm not going to by ten speed by another band, no one can imitate claudio's voice). I'm excited for wolf like me too, finally some indie rock. |

Friday, May 29, 2009 @ 04:04:15 PM @10 Are you sure? They better not make a crappy version of the best song on C+C's new album. The Running Free is an amazing song, and the Ten Speed of Gods Blood and Burial was quite a poor version. |

Saturday, May 30, 2009 @ 12:42:42 AM Finally some Coheed. God I just wish they'd release In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3 or Second Stage Turbine Blade for RB. Hell, any of the full albums (Maybe except for Good Apollo 2, disappointing). |

Saturday, May 30, 2009 @ 01:53:03 AM bonaroo is a huge US Festival, but a little of the ROTHBURY lineup would be better! Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead, String Cheese Incident, willie nelson, sts9, and many more! |
