@37 Yeah, the story was shorter than a lot of retail games, but it is also longer than a lot of retail games.
Also, content does not mean just story missions. Content includes the side activities, the new weapons, the new vehicles (over 20), the multiplayer (an entire new multiplayer system with 7 or so new modes), etc. etc.
Also Shivering Isles did NOT give more content, the billions of miles of hills don't count as content. New quests, a few items, etc. Pssh. Not to mention it costed 10 dollars more than TLAD at release.
Also, to those bashing the name, lol at you. Do you not think that this is what R* expected. They named this DLC with tongue planted firmly in cheek.If you don't get it, then the joke is on you. |

Games are not designed to give you a high completion percentage.
I agree that some elements from the GTA3 trilogy are missing (and missed), but it's hard to knock Rockstar's approach on this. |

What is not included is something that IGN posted about.
It is important to merit that a disc form of this will be released through retail stores and priced at $39.99 supposedly and will come with both the 1st and 2nd DLC packs. If that is the case, then I might end up getting that and go with that route instead of a download. |

These two DLC packs are only little expansions to the story much like what the two PSP games were to the GTA 3 series story. The PSP games storyline weren't that long but there wasn't much complaining. 1600 points is a bargain.
I'm pretty sure they'll move on to a proper retail version after this DLC has been released. |

| The good thing, if not the great thing about it coming to disc is that you'll be able to buy it used in local retailers. Over time, it'll be much cheaper, a lot closer to the price that its worth. (I don't care how you justify it, 20 bucks is too much for DLC. No matter how much you offer, I'd rather you just create an entirely new game that I have to spend 30 more bucks on at that point.) |

#67, Gears has inifinite replayability because the online is good.
GTAIV doesn't because the online is poop and was shoehorned in to appease the people that say every game needs online.
Bioshock didn't have online and it was magnificent, now they're going to cram it into 2 and it'll most likely suck.
Adding non-stackable difficulty achievements is another way to add gameplay hours but everyone hates it. |

| TLAD was better than the main game IMO, so I'll probably pick this up. Among all of the DLC I've purchased, the only DLC "worth it" was Shivering Isles for Oblivion, Pure Time Trials for Mirror's Edge, TLAD for GTAIV, and the two co-op packs for GRAW 2. |

I'm excited they are releasing this as a disc... my 20 GB HDD is completely full from arcade games, ffxi, and burnout paradise content.
As I don't see the point in paying $100 for a bigger hard drive that should have initially been included with the system... as well as being cornered to only purchase that type of HDD, when it really is just a SATA drive.
Besides, the 1600 for each set of content is still $40, but im sure the disc will drop in price a lot faster! ;) |

1-Get your sorry asses off the chair and get a job, you'll see you'll be able to afford it.
2-No one's forcing you to buy.

TLAD was amazing. It had alot of hype. I think the setting for TLAD was just really cool. This setting isn't as attracting, but I'm pretty sure it'll be worth the money. This'll take me past 1000G if it gives us 250G with it, so I'm pretty happy, considering GTA IV had to be one of the hardest games to get Gamerscore for.
I hope this ones longer, cause TLAD was longer than expected, but it still seemed short considering Niko's campaign was very long.
Hopefully there's more toys to shoot, more vehicles to drive, and the night time climate brings a whole unique level of enjoyment. Rockstar are right, they have made such a good world, that they can use specific areas of this world as the focus of gameplay, and use the weather system to set a whole different atmosphere. I knew this would come. Think about it. When you finish 'Museum Piece' you get the achievement Impossible Trinity. Implying three protagonists brought together by impossible odds; Niko, Johnny and Luis.

| Hated this game, dunno why, it just bored me. Won't get this, didnt get the first, DLC is becoming way too expensive for what you get IMO. |

| Since it has the word "Gay" in the title if Microsoft allows this they will become hypocrites. That is unless they allow people like Richard Gaywood to have his gamertag back. Seems silly really that they would ban him for no reason other than the fact that he was born with gay in his name and then release this. |

Cool, I'll buy the disc game!
I didn't really like the original GTA IV but the DLCs seem much more exciting. The name "BoGT" is one of the weirdest names a game can have but it probably suits to it.
From the name of the DLC I predict that Gay Tony dies in the end of this downloadable content. |

| Just what I was waiting for!! First a disc for all of Fallout's content and now a disc for the two dlc for GTA, I refuse to pay 20 bucks for a download without having a disc, thats just weird to me. |
