The Zombies & Cranberries in Rock Band Next Week

The Zombies & Cranberries in Rock Band Next Week
Written Friday, May 22, 2009 by Dan Webb

MTV Games and Harmonix today announced the upcoming Rock Band DLC, due to be released next Tuesday, May 26th.

A few little treats this week in the form of The Zombies and The Cranberries. "Linger" and "She's Not There" are absolute classics and I encourage you to go listen to them now if you've not already heard them.

In addition players can get their hands on some Ministry as well who've been around longer than I have. As usual, tracks are 160 points each, or you can pick up the Ministry pack for 440 points.

The upcoming tracks are as follows:

Ministry - “Cuz U R Next”
Ministry - “LiesLiesLies”
Ministry - “The Great Satan”
The Zombies - “She’s Not There”
The Zombies - “Tell Her No”
The Cranberries - “Linger”

Oh Lonnie, you will always find a way to take a classic track and bring it down to your level, ha ha.

Cool Rock Band 2 just gets better and better.

Take note Guitar Hero employees.

Maybe they should put more downloadable content then 5 new games!!!!

God, Linger is an awesome song.

By the way, I don't know when they did it, but they also put the Replacements song on the marketplace. *shrug*

good tunes, would like them to have added 2 more Cranberries (Zombie, Salvation or Dreams)

Ministry, great strumming tunes - Jesus Built My Hotrod is one ive wanted for ages - maybe next time.

I too would've loved "Zombie" by the Cranberries but Linger is still a very strong track. Not much for my tastes but still a high standard of DLC.

Don't get me wrong, though. I am happy to see The Zombies and The Cranberries, though. Probably will be picking those up. =)

2 things (#1) I agree with Darth Logo, some songs that were in talks and keep us wanting and waiting, for instince I was hoping when I first heard about Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down, Miss Murder By AFI, and ABC by The Jackson 5, but still nothing I hate when companies keep you with a good hype and release, how I say, other stuff (in nice words), and (#2) Bootleg Warrior is right, Time Of The Seasons is one I wish they did bring out, it would be a reason for me to get the track pack, but probally just "Tell Her No" now never really cared much for "She's Not There" but this is my opinion and thoughts, just like everyone else has.

Not a bad week. I picked up the Zombies songs and Linger. Zombies are an easy guitar FC, but they're amazing songs and they weren't boring to play. Linger was awesome. I didn't get the Ministry pack due to funds, but I do plan on getting my hands on it in the near future. Sounds brutal.

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
