Having international sweepstakes is a lot more complicated than limiting it to one nation. And if you are going to get mad at someone, only get mad at your European branch of Microsoft since they are the ones not bothering to offer you guys anything. And the logical reason they don't, is because they don't see a any financial gain offering it to the UK, since it's a slightly smaller country then the US and less people = less money from people buying the DLC... and I figure not including the whole of Europe is due to the expense of having to translate it into 40 different languages, import/export taxes, shipping fees (which are crazy expensive) and other unique country laws etc. It's just too much hassle to give something away for free. |
