Fallout 3's Fourth Downloadable Pack Called Point Look?

Fallout 3's Fourth Downloadable Pack Called Point Look?
Written Thursday, April 30, 2009 by Dan Webb

The future of Fallout 3 beyond Broken Steel is pretty much an unknown entity. Bethesda haven't really said much and have tended not to speculate.

However, a recent listing by eStarland, a relatively small US games outlet, has recently posted a double downloadable content listing for two pieces of Fallout 3 DLC; Broken Steel & Point Look.

Whilst no information is listed alongside it, the pricing would indicate that it is another 800 Microsoft Points piece and the current release date is set for June 6th 2009.

A possible slip maybe? Or an over imaginitive worker? At current, we'll chalk this one down as a rumour, but we'll keep our ear to the ground.

We've contacted Bethesda for confirmation and will hopefully know more tomorrow.

ZOMG more Fallout 3 please!!!!!!! I really hope this hints at a fourth DLC pack. After all, the new gamerscore limit is 1750 and Fallout 3 will only be at 1350 after Broken Steele is released.

I have not played the frist one due to I beated that game. And now I have waited for third one to play that and other two. But a fourth one. I will believed it when I see it. And if it is so. This may be the frist PS3 owner will get for a add-on. If they sayed that this upcoming is last one. And they are coming with a fourth one. It more likey it be the frist one to belaesed on another console besides the XBOX 360. In other words. This up coming one is last one be only on MICROSOFT platfroms.

I would love to have more fallout, even at the 1750 limit, Fallout 3 doesn't need achievements!

But you would think they would have announced it a few months ahead, or do you believe 1 month is enough of time?

Also, why didn't a company do this for the Oblivion DLC?; I would have been able to buy them, but at the time I had no xbox live.

@34 its not overkill, its called a bloody mess of awesomeness.

Hmmm just remember that a rep from Bethesda did say that Fallout 3 would have more Gscore then any other game in the X360 library. . . . .I'm pretty sure they are up to snuff with Halo 3's 1750 but still that might have been a slip way in the future. . . . so far with this new expansion (4th rumored one) we'll be at 1450 so possiblity? maybe

Cool keep it comin in. Even though I havent bought Fallout 3 yet, Ive played it and love it. Im being a cheap bastard and waiting for the eventual GOTY Edition like Oblivion had. That way I dont end up spending $100+ for one game. It might be worth $100 but...no.

@29
Yeah and you would know about good games considering you play LoTR: Conquest, Civil War, Dynasty Warriors Gundam, and Legendary just to name a few. Fallout 3 and BioShock bad? Hah!

Well, they have 1750/80 achievements to play with...

The first 3 were the only EXCLUSIVE ones; they did say there'd be more DLC after as well. It makes sense they'd make more, just to balance out the retail disc (DLC DVD 1 is 2 DLCs).

#80 i noticed that as well and you are absolutely correct. The "rules" clearly don't apply to Microsoft's moneymakers.

I am one of the few who didn't like the game at all to begin with and regretted dropping $60 on it - and with $10 DLC coming out every couple of weeks you guys must really love this game.

There's few games ever I could justify spending $100 or more on, and Fallout 3 definitely is not one of them.

Gah! Damn you Broken Steel! Screwing up my acheivements! It just unlocked 'Who Dares Wins' properly for me but now 'Shock Value' and 'Death From Above' or still not unlocked! WTF!?

Anyway, really hoping for a new DLC and something to repair my items with (Such as the Gauss Rifle and T51-b).

Alot of people have negative things to say on the amount of extra DLC and say that these thing should be included on disc.

tbh i think that the fallout DLC provides the best value of any content ive downloaded, giving about an extra hour for every pound spent (collectively after playing through all 3 pieces of DLC).

Most commercial "casual player" games ship with 20 hours max for the £40 quid price tag. I dont think asking for another £20 for 15-20 more hours, extending the life of a game you have gotten to know and are deeply involved in is really alot to ask for.

My personal opinion of course.. bring on more DLC!

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
