@29 - I'm sure there was a film made about Sherlock investigating Jack the Ripper, there's also a conspiracy to suggest the Ripper wasn't a real person. But you're right I suppose, Doyle himself never wrote a novel about Sherlock investigating Jack. |

These new games in the news should have a motto: 'Don't hate, just move on.' Nothing constructive, yattah yattah yattah. I, for one, am encouraged that the majority isn't instantly turned off. And I'm hoping this'll give me an excuse to buy another point-and-click after all these years. |

I agree with #6, if a person beats the game, he'll already know whats in store for the story line again, so it'll be boring after one play through. Also, if this game has live, that will suck horribly. -Looks like a CSI game back in the old days! |

Q: Jack The Ripper was never found. How is Sherlock Holmes going to find him? A: Sherlock Holmes is a fictional character. Him bringing Jack The Ripper to justice is an example of fiction. Dilemma: But Jack The Ripper is real! Why is he in this game? Debate: Why is Tarantino in Eat Lead or DaVinci in AC2? Result: Calm down, English majors. The concept is good enough and I say we wait for more info. For those who are judging on screenshots alone, the subject matter is from literature - you can't watch books so hold your judgment. |

the ripper has always been a story ive taken great interest in, maybe ill rent this when its out, depending on the x360a reviews also to #62 yeah taking sherlock holmes and combining the two takes away from the seriousness of the enigma that is jack the ripper, but ill give the game the benefit of the doubt... hopefully. |

This will probably end up in the bargain bin very quickly, then it might be worth picking up for cheap. If it's a point and click game these games rarely work on consoles, and if this is one such game it will probably be no exception. |

| Didn't the developers know that the only way to lure in close-minded gamers is with guns and big explosions? Silly mistake. For the point that it would only be good on one playthrough that would hold true for almost every game that you play the single player for, so not wanting to play something twice because you know the storyline doesn't make much since. |
