For all of you that think Country doesn't sell, the very first/original country pack that came out a few months ago was in the top 100 all time RB DLC downloads last time I checked.
Quit your bitchin'. Am I going to buy anything this week? No, but it's a chance to either save my MS points, or perhaps spend what I would have spent and catch up on some older DLC.

Not a fan of country but I love that there is so much to pick from across all types of music. I'm not a metal fan and will probably never download any, but I'd be open to more in the game. Not a country fan but I'm open to more in the game. The more styles of music, the more people will want to play. I'm not a hardcore gamer that will play this game till I can easily pass on expert, I'm the guy that downloads the fun songs to play after the bar closes with 8 people at a house drinking and playing rock band. If country will get another person or two over, bring it on. |

I've heard of The Shins and Bullet For My Valentine but I Don't really know there music, so i'm hoping they'll be a couple new cool bands that i'm turned on too thanks to music games. I'm pretty eccentric in my taste in music but i'm not really a country fan however if there ever was a Garth Brooks pack I'd probably check it out. I wish they'd put more alternative music out for download like some Everclear or Third Eye Blind that would be awesome!!!! |

Since when is Country considered Rock? They should of named this game "Music Band" if they wanted to start going into other genres. I so hope Country stays DLC, because I hate Country. Love the way the game 'tries' to include all genres.
Not a fan of Country, but Dixie Chicks' Sin Wagon was really fun and semi-challenging to play.

It's amazing to see the range of different opinions regarding the DLC for Rock Band. Obviously they will never be able to keep everyone happy but the way I see it, the more variety of songs they provide, the better it is for us as we are exposed to new music we may not have heard any other way.
As for the people saying they should change the name from Rock Band, that's completely ridiculous. They've already registered the trademark name of 'Rock Band' and built a fanbase and reputation based on that name branding, so they'd be quite literally insane to go and change the name of the series at this point. |
