Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Trailer and Release Date Written Wednesday, March 25, 2009 by James Parkin Thanks to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's website, we were treated with two things. First off we get a nifty little debut trailer (see below) and second we find out the game's release date of November 10th. While the trailer doesn't offer much in visuals, it does a lot with audio. We hear many things, including elevators, zippers, guns reloading, coughing, commands, and plenty of screaming. | |

November may be an expensive month with this and Halo: ODST coming out, especially since there will likely be collector's or limited editions of both games. Hopefully there won't be any prestige achievements that mock the player's time spent playing multiplayer. Oh, and I love how people are saying this teaser is lame because it doesn't show anything. To have stuck in our heads. This one leaves a lot to think about. The only thing i can guess at this point is that it may leave off form the first one with a new russian boss steping up. If you remember form the first one, at the end of the game there was a news report stating that a leadership conflict between factions of the socialist groups in the old eastern block. I could be wrong but it sounded like ruissan being spoken in the elevator and at the end of the trailer. |

If CoD:WaW was modern, I think people would have got bored already, have 3 modern versions in a row. Having two developers mean they can work together to improve the games, and while CoD:WaW was being made, they had already started Modern Warfare 2, making the game releases much closer.
