Are We Going To See Bulletstorm Remastered?

Microsoft was handing out little USB sticks crammed with assets at its E3 presser last night, and journalists have started unpacking a few surprises...

It looks like Microsoft may have intended to show off a Bulletstorm Remastered at its press conference, but for some reason the game didn't make the cut. Alas, the assets have been found on the USB drive and uploaded all over the internet by now, hinting that the game certainly exists.

Whether it's an MS exclusive or not remains to be seen - the original did come out on PS3, so it's highly likely both platforms will see People Can Fly's high-octane shooter.

  • I'll take it, but I'd rather have a sequel.
  • Bulletstorm shows up on my "Favorites/Friends" tab on XB1, it's the only game that isn't BC that shows up on that list.I figured that meant it was going to become BC, but like #1, I'd much rather see a sequel.
  • Never played the first one so I welcome this!
  • I'm gonna kill your d**KS Love that line.
  • Man, this is dick-tits.
  • SUCH an underrated game! This is a remaster I'd really welcome as it's such a unique spin on the fps and hopefully enough people would buy it a second time around to encourage a sequel!
  • Can we please get a sale on the original's DLCs? That would be nice
  • This game was hyped like crazy when it first game out, then it literally just disappeared and was essentially forgotten. I thought it was a really fun game. The score system for getting kills made it fun for replay. I imagine they're re-releasing this in order to see if people would buy a sequel. If its like $20, the I'll definitely pick it up, but I can't see myself paying more than that, cause its not a very long game.
  • I swear if EA gives the go ahead to this, a garbage game people only bought for the Gears 3 beta, after responding to the huge demand for a remastered Mass Effect Trilogy with something along the lines of "we only want to focus on new games" I'm going to be so pissed. I've overlooked a lot of crap from EA, but this'll be the final straw.
  • @8 this game if fully remastered extremely well it's worth at least 40 @9 this game is one of the few I'd like to see remastered will sell well too due to it just being fun. Anyone who has played this will tell you it's just over the top fun. It's not serious and it surely has the most colorful language you'll ever here in a game. OT I would buy a fully remastered version of this game. I really enjoyed this game when I bought it on the 360 and I'll have a lot of fun with it on the one if it remastered. This was highly unrated and was worth my money despite being shorter. It's too much fun.
  • Great game. Rather have a sequel, the game as is holds it's own perfectly fine.
  • Fuck off remasters! I thought it was Bulletstorm 2 but fuck it let's re-release our old game because we have no ideas.
  • remaster a bargin bin game that u can get for less than $5 lol. I just bought a PS3 copy not long ago and if I remember correctly I paid like $3 for it at gamestop.
  • I agree with what comment 13 said, remaster some cheaper games that a lot of people may not know about.
  • i'm just sitting here, violently fiddling with my balls, waiting for those dicktits to release this or a sequel! :D
  • Bulletstorm was a cult classic. All the creative ways to slaughter the AI never got old. Playing in co-op was even better. I'd love a Remaster!
  • @12 Let's re-release our old game to fund our current and future projects because the cost of games haven't risen in over a decade yet the price for making them has skyrocketed.
  • How about re-releasing SSX Tricky and SSX 3... Here's the blank check. I'm also one of the guys who bought Bulletstorm, just for the Gears 3 beta. If this is cheap enough, I may actually play it this time.
  • i swear the head of EA said they would not do remasters a year or so ago
  • Are we not past the re-master stage yet? So goddamn many of them. Wouldn't surprise me if most of the Scorpio launch line up will be quantom break, sunset overdrive, etc re-mastered.
  • @10 I did play it. It was mediocre and not at all something I'd every go back to.
  • @17 speak for your own country, maybe the cost if buying games is the same as it has been wherever it is you live. But in Canada the average game has risen to 80 dollars per game and that is not for a special or collector's edition, that is just for the regular base game. Game's also take 3 times as long to go down in price here as they do as say in the United States. And Canada isn't even the worst place in Australia the average game comes to to 120 dollars ( or whatever the currency is called there) it is criminal I swear... But as for Bulletstorm that sounds great!! Remaster is cool but a sequel would be 10 times better, maybe if the remaster sells well we could get a sequel. If this is actually really yet to be confirmed right?
  • The game got over shadowed due to the whole "buy this and get access to gears of war beta" can't remember which game.. But the beta for gears really sunk this game.. It was really good though I'd take a remastered version for like £20-25 not for £30-40 But I'd prefer a sequel yeah.
  • This is one game I would actually love to play again!
  • I'll buy a remaster and a sequel. Bring it!
  • @22 I'm so tired of this argument. Yes new releases might cost $60 in the United States, $80 in Canada, and $120 in Australia but that's completely ignoring the fact that our currencies are vastly different. Minimum wage in the United States is $7 compared to Australia's $17! Games are not cheaper in the United States just because. You have to look at each country separately and the game industry is regulated in each country accordingly. That's just the way the world works.
  • @26 Valid point, but it still doesn't change the fact that games are way more expensive in other countries compared to the US. I remember when Call of Duty Infinite Warfare's Collectors edition was unveiled, the one bundled with Modern Warfare Remaster, biggest complaint was that it would be 80 dollars. Well in Canada the regular edition will be 80, and the collectors edition will be 120-150, and Australia it will be possibly 200 dollars. The differing minimum wages are irrelevant the average gamer spends there money in their country. The American dollar is worth more than Australian or Canadian, and I have friends in the US they tell me new games in the US drop from 60 to 20 in price within the first 3-6 months in Canada it takes 12-18 months for the same thing to happen. I know you personally don't set the prices and have nothing to do with it, but it is just robbery plain and simple buying new games outside the US...
