#3 is still a failure, next time don't put a number at all and you won't sound like a moron (hopefully). Nobody cares anyways. We can read the official numbers on the post, so it is quite redundant for you to list the number that you think you have in the first place. Why can't some of you R-Tards get that through your thick mis-shaped heads.
Anyways, we all know that the DLC should have been included on the disc (despite arguments from fanboys), so pushing it back 2 weeks isn't going to solve anything. The very least they could have done is actually release the DLC on the date they announced. Two strikes for Capcom! |

I'm not going to buy the DLC anyways. Multiplayer for Resident Evil is a fail in itself. Running around looking for people, then standing still to shoot them? I can't think of any games like that. I doubt it will be addicting, let a lone bearable.
Also, for the sole reason that yes, it should have been released with the game. Left 4 Dead is making their content free, because I'm sure everyone knew that the maps should have been released with the game. |

There should be a rule where games shouldn't be able to release DLC for a certain number of months, as it is definately being used as a money-making tactic (holding back features of games to sell them back to us).

| Love the game and im only a few achievements off 1000 but for me the DLC is not worth getting. Once i get the 1k ill leave the game alone for a bit. Merc mode is ok but not all that, so a death match game type aint gonna change my mind! |

| For people moaning about the DLC, you could always wait a month or 2 til the game encheapens and buy a copy along with the DLC and save money compared to if you brought it on release day. Prime example - Prince of Persia. Already between £20-£25 in most places and DLC 800 points is still less than £40 that most people who got it on release day paid. |

| Yeah I was pumped at first but now I'm not sure if it's gonna be worth it. I like the idea of a 4 player competitive version of Merc's, but like others have said, a "death match" version of RE5 doesn't sound fun at all. To me, adding a mode like that almost makes the game lose it's aesthetic value. The only way I'd consider buying this is if they add more achievements. |

| I will get the content but, well.....I don't understand how the "stand still and shoot" mechanic will work at all for any "deathmatch"....dumb. Yet, I am glad to play Vs. Merc with my buddies just for racking up score. However, I don't see how this will be fun past a few days online. |

| instead of stating there is going to be a release date and then postponing it, why not put the "release date" in the future a few weeks and then if its finished, bring it out early and please people. Rather than making us wait even longer than we were first expecting. |

everyones kicking up a fuss about this game bringing out DLC so close to release, thats been happning for a while now with various games. Skate 2 for example.
DLC in itself has become another way to get a bit more money out of every single game that comes out, i long for the days when only really good games with a massive fanbase would get DLC simply because people dont want to stop playing them, e.g. oblivion. |

online will be funny in only one way; seeing everyone run and then completely stop, shoot, then move again. Then people screaming into the mic due to panic and anger. LOL
I hate resi's controls so much. With Dead Space setting a great control standard for the genre why couldnt Capcom take a leaf from that book?
I agree with many others though, for online multiplayer, stick to COD and Halo, Resi is about the Single player and coop, not competitive multiplayer... |

| This is a crock! You don't release the DLC when the game is released, You give us a date and back out not good either. Then you want to release it during another highly anticipated DLC (mythic map pack).whats the deal here? I think capcom is confused. Get back to the basics and quit worring about the next million dollars. I'm pretty sure you'll be ok. RE with a multiplayer with the release of the game would of blew my mind. Can anybody say overrated. RE5 has about none or very little replay value. I've loved these games since the first one (best one too for that matter). I've been through Resi 4 about 27 times now I think (not really but it's a lot of times) and I'm still not bored with it. I'm more than halfway through Resi 5 and I'm already bored to death. It's not scary and not even remotely close to being as good as Resi 4 or 1,2,3,0 and Code: Veronica. it's just a third person shooter in the Resi Universe. Resi 5 is OK but that's kind of the problem. Resident Evil 1,2 and 4 are extraordinary, awesome and some of the greatest games ever. Resi 3 and 0 are great and even Resi 3 which you can run through in very short time is better than 5.

@63 None of those other games came out with MP DLC right after the game was released. A lot of people, including myself, think it should have been included on the disc and not charged $5. I'm not saying DLC should be free, i spent $60 or more on this game and I'll need to spend $5 more if I want to play other MP modes, thanks but no thanks.

Then if the game was pushed back lets say to april 9th so it will be included then theres an outrage, get your priorities straight "gamers", how about you save that extra $5 your parents give you to buy it or better yet get a job, so impatient and cheap. |

I have yet to hear of a company EVER charge to use the competitive multiplayer portion of their product outside of the MMO genre. It's bullshit and they know it.
#65, You are ok with waiting for the charged DLC that is coming out on April 9th but would not have been willing to wait until April 9th to have it come free in the box...?
