Polygon seems to have recieved news that Injustice 2 is indeed real. In a letter sent to Gamestop managers (and now the online world, apparently), it's revealed you'll be able to get your hands on one of these posters with a pre-order of the game. The poster features Batman facing down The Flash with the tagline 'Every Battle Defines You'. Ooh.
There is currnetly no word what platforms the game will release on, but Polygon reports that GameStop terminals are already loaded up with Xbox One and PlayStation 4 placeholders. But take that with a pinch of delicious salt.
To back up the leak, Ed Boon has recently tweeted both the boot of a new character that we haven't seen in previous NetherRealm Studios games and changed his profile picture to a Roman Numeral 'II'.
We ran a story on another report that came out last week regarding Gameblog.fr, and the rumours the site recieved about NetherRealm working on a new game, and with this new information coming along to corraborate those rumours, there's not a lot of room for speculation.
So is it real? There's a pretty big chance we'll find out at a big gaming event coming up at the start of next week...
