Resident Evil 5 is what I class as the first super budget, AAA title of the year ... or well, that's what it's been billed as in the last few months (got to love hype right?). There is no doubting that it's one of the greatest looking games ever made but looks don't make the game good. I mean, you can make a dead rat look like a steak and it will look great but taste ... well, like a rat (not that I know what one tastes like). In order to have a great game, substance, and in the case of Resident Evil, fear, is needed. Is Resident Evil 5 the current generation horror game we've been pining after or does it leave us with a taste of disappointment in the mouth?
