Resident Evil 5 ''Versus'' DLC Confirmed (New Achievements?) Written Thursday, March 12, 2009 by Alan Pettit Capcom has confirmed that in "a few weeks" there will be some DLC ready for Resident Evil 5. The "Versus" DLC will cost only 400MSP and add two new four-player multiplayer modes to the game.
In addition to this news, PS3 owners have noticed 10 new trophies when comparing their lists against friends on their console. While not a complete confirmation of new achievements, the two systems have been closely tied in the past. Leave this one in the rumor bin for now, but here are the names and descriptions of the ten extra trophies that mention the game modes in the upcoming "Versus" DLC. Either way, I like the sound of co-op multi than competetive multi alot more for this |

All the DLC does is unlock content already on the disc. Though I don't think I'd play multiplayer on this game much, anyway, as stop and pop 4 player deathmatch doesn't sound too appealing. Look at most DLC these days, 800-1600MSP each, and this is 400MSP for 2 game MODES! Not maps, but MODES! If it turns out ot be whack then bitch about it! And let's be fair, if you can afford the £40/$60 for the game, surely an extra £5/$5 (approx.) isn't that much!? Stop moaning about extra content which was NEVER guaranteed in the first place! Be grateful for what we get, they could easily have left it out altogether! But in fairness just because we are fans doesn't mean we want to pay for anything extra that some believe is merely an unlock for something that is already on the disc. Being affordable doesn't change the fact that most who pay quite a lot for the main game are expected to pay more for a rather experimental multiplayer. There is a risk that not enough people will buy it either which means that it could be a waste.
