Bioshock Collection Appears Once Again in Brazilian Rating

Having first cropped up in a retailer listing back in September 2015, the case is mounting for the Bioshock Collection on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Bioshock: The Collection, to give it the proper name has once again cropped up in a rating from the Brazilian Ratings Board for release in 2016.

The listing has the game down for release on Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, which places doubts in our minds as to whether the games will actually be remastered for current-gen consoles. It seems unlikely if Bioshock: The Collection is heading to last-gen platforms too.

Obviously, we'd much rather play an overhauled and remastered version of the Bioshock games than simply have them re-issued in a box together. We'll know more about what's going on with Bioshock: The Collection as and when (or rather if) it's officially announced. For now, however, perhaps take all this with a pinch of salt for now.

[Thanks to everyone who sent this in]

  • Would prefer a new Bioshock game rather than 'remasters'. They cant really remaster the first 3 because they were basically perfection.
  • can't see them being remasters to be honest, as the series is supposed to be going backwards compatible on the x1 isnt it?
  • @2 These remasters could have already been in motion before BC was a thing.
  • I would rather get an upgraded version for Xbox One than play it as BC.
  • Razu stated it was for Next Generation only, so it might not be for Xbox360 at all. Could be an upgraded version still. I hope at least it gets 1080p and 60 frames per second.
  • C'mon Bioshock remaster. LETS BE 'AVIN YOU!
  • I'm impressed at how people find this stuff.
  • @1 they could very much remaster them, there was a fan effort a few years back of a section of the first game done in 1080p it looked incredible. I'll see if I can find it and post it here, it's worth seeing. That said I replayed it last year when it was on sale for little or nothing and thought it had aged well in terms of looks given how old it is.
  • I would rather see a remaster with all DLC included than just BC.
  • I'd prefer the remaster of them simply because BC has graphical and fps messes all over the place I don't what that to taint my Bioshock performance
  • I couldn't give a shit about a remaster... Just put it on the BC list.
  • shalalalalala YES, wait for iiit ... wait for iiiit .... If it hits the stores, I'll jump around a bit.
  • Please be a remaster and please get announced already.
  • If it is a remastered collection, please, get rid of the multi-player in Bioshock 2.
  • I don't care about Bioshock 2 but I'd play the crap out of the first and Infinite for sure. I'll support this, plus I have 2 friends who haven't even played the series so I'm forcing them to play it.
  • Hope this is real. Would love to play it remastered. Guess it's just a wait and see.
  • had a friend working for the studio doing this. from what he was telling me it's not a remaster, but more of a up-rez. don't expect anything amazing outside of how it originally was.
  • I honestly don't even understand why this need a collection/re-master. Its not even that old. This console generation has been a few gems here and there but mainly re-releases.
  • If it's Just the first 2 I'll given in a whirl. Infinite wasn't my thing and just felt too detracted. 1&2 were superb
  • still waiting to for them to come bc.
