The game looks great. I wonder since they are doing it in Las Vegas (or a Las Vegas like setting at least) will they have a vertical element to it? I mean if you're going through hotels and what not can you at least go UP the hotel? I suppose it's all dependent upon how big they are going to make the game. All I know is though, I want to play it now!!

Great news. More Dead Rising is good. I think I played the first one a half dozen times (although, strangely enough, never beat the main story).
If it's just as fun, then we'll have a winner.
I'd like to see how the game will be able to go from a self-sufficient mall to a somewhat limited Vegas scene. And, hopefully, the very restricting time limit of the original will be lifted or relaxed. I can't really complain about the save system from DR1, as I was always near a bathroom, but more save locations would be appreciated, along with the ability to save in infinity mode (14 straight hours playing? no thanks)
Add in more weapons, foods, psychopaths, and a larger inventory/health bar, and DR2 will be awesome! |

| Hope this is totally diff from 1st one. That STUPID ''following the leads'' thing it had spoiled it, all we wanted to do was smash zombies but the game almost makes you avoid combat with them. On mine, the trail went cold, then saved, then couldnt carry on so had to start again. why not add a 2player Split screen and 4player online survival mode where you just try and kill as many as poss, that would be a GOOD zombie game. Mind you, Left4Dead is awsome :) |

Ok i am excited about this idea but when my brother had his 360 and we were sharing it i sold my ps2 games to buy the first one and couldnt even read the damn text cause we had a normal size tv and no flat screen so it made the damn text difficult to read..if its like this with this game then i wont bother playing it or buying it...
am i the only one who had a issue with that? |

The graphics look even better and I loved the first one EXCEPT the save system which was sh*t and something I absolutely hated so don't know if I'll get if the same system, might just rent! Also the time limit sucked too. RE 5 will be much better anyway, so I ain't too sad, but might still get this.

| Third Party exclusives are a thing of the past now. PS3 lost DMC, Final Fantasy, and Tekken. Now 360 has lost Bioshock, Lost Planet, Dead Rising, and probably Mass Effect soon. Now it's all up to First party games to show a difference between Consoles. Anyway, back to Dead Rising, Hopefully they'l; incorporate a save system that doesn't suck in this game. |

just been playing the 1st one again to get the achievements and realy hope they dont have the 5/7day survivor, cuz thats just not worth even trying. you have to play for at least 14hrs straight, cant save either. I bet thats caused a lot of RROD with overheating. Get up at 9am and you wont be done til midnight.
More realistic achievements and more save options for DR2 would be nice. Less loading screens as well. |
