First Dead Rising 2 Footage Emerges? Written Friday, February 06, 2009 by Dan Webb I like to think that over the past 3 years we've discovered a nose for a good rumour and for a crappy rumour. In fact, if it doesn't look genuine or sound genuine, we don't tend to post it, but what we've stumbled upon is what seems like the first real footage of Dead Rising 2. We're not sayin "OMG!! DEAD RISING 2 FOOTAGE HERE!!!1! PWNZ!!111!"; what we're saying is, "hmmm, there are a few things there that give us hope that this is the upcoming Dead Rising 2." Those few things include; the Vegas environment (which was rumoured last year), the hamster ball that crushes the zombies (perfectly in the vein of the original and ultra cool) and the whole Battlefront-sneaky-recording scenario from a few weeks back. Decide for yourselves on this one ... a really well made hoax, a bit of viral or someone's going to be out of a job Monday for this leak? | |

There is just a little too much gameplay footage from the first game to actually make me trust that this is in fact a trailer. There is one instance right at the beginning where you see a view of Willamette Mall through Frank's camera lens, and I doubt Capcom would place a picture of Mega Frank in a trailer, as it has nothing to do with the actual storyline. |
