TRU: Beneath the Ashes Dev Diary

TRU: Beneath the Ashes Dev Diary
Written Tuesday, February 03, 2009 by Dan Webb

The Tomb Raider: Underworld DLC is a week away from release and whilst some of you couldn't give a flying monkeys, there is no doubt that the content will prove to be popular.

Beneath the Ashes continues the story of Underworld and takes Lara back to Croft Manor and in to the depths of the mysterious catacombs and dungeons left behind in the rubble. The latest video takes an inside look at the areas, the feel and more importantly, the puzzles.

Haha, I agree with the bald guy. If it was under my house, I'd move too.

I'll probably pick this up after they fix the bugs in the main game, and I get done playing Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection and GTAIV: The Lost and Damned.

I was a fan of tomb raider when it came out for the PSX. Never really played anything past that. This looks pretty good though. I might have to get back into it!!

@#10 I clearly agree, especially since the normal campaign was so short!

Game makers tend to think they ll make DLC for their games to "please" the gamers, but most of the time their DLC is just something that should have been free INSIDE the normal version of the game!

Don't buy this. They cut it out of the original game in order to sell it to you now... Plus there was already a mission under the manor in the first game... What the fuck?

I am buying this as soon as it is released. I've been waiting for this and the next one since they announced them. Will buy them both the day they are released.

Poll

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
