Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard

Despite the name of D3's upcoming Eat Lead game ... Matt Hazard is an entirely new entity in the gaming scene, and by new I mean ... never seen him before.

Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard revolves around non other than Matt Hazard, a videogame star who plans on resurrecting his career with his new game after a 6 year break.

The game is essentially an action-parody (ha, what an awesome new genre name) whereby the namesake of the game gets himself in to some awkward situations where his one liners and wide range of weapons are all that can save him.

The following 5 videos provide an insight in to the title looking at the voices (the "legendary" Neil Patrick Harris and the butch Will Arnett) and some of the game's parody action.

If you don't watch all 5, make sure you check out the third gameplay clip (last video) ... very, very amusing parody. You'll find yourself muttering "it's so true" under your breath as you watch it.

	Never heard of this, but it looks like a lot of fun! Those Wolfenstein sprites running around made me grin like a... thing.

	At first glance this game looked dumb (I only saw gameplay footage 1) but after watching the rest of the vids this looks pretty cool and quite funny =D Definatey watch gameplay footage 3 if you haven't yet, it made me chuckle =]

	who cares about matt hazard... seriously. this game is probably gonna be a piece of garbage. it would be nice to see news about games more than 2 people have actually heard about, or games that are worth playing

	Well not sure, could be midly amusing provided it doesn't take itself too seriously. Although yeah doesn't look particularly good as a shooter. And lol @ 7, surely all games start off as something only a few people have heard of until they get news reports :P

	WTF, i thought this was an XBLA game when i saw the first video. The crosshair is horrible, and it looks a bit easy, just your usual run and gun bullshit, no thanks

	At post 7...Screw you. This game is going to be awesome. You can't expect a new fricken Gears or Halo or any of the top franchise to push a new one out every year. So shut up, the graphics and the gameplay look awesome on this game. I'm going to pick up for sure. So, yeah. This is going to be an awesome resurrection. I loved this game back in the 1970's. Awesome game, truly is. I'm glad they thought of this idea.

	I'm totally buying this. I loved video 3, how the hit-points were visibly being reduced whenever the boss was hit, as well as the humor and the flat Wolfenstein soldiers and Wolfenstein level. Arnett was right, I fucking loved Nightmare on Biosphere One.

	Wow, I can't believe people don't like fun, original ideas any more. This looks like fun. It doesn't take itself seriously and it's done by a great company who aren't renown for doing the same old shit time and time again. Shame on you.

	Haters = little kids who only know franchises and/or sheltered from classic gaming ideas. Don't let it bother you people. Their loses. I'm not saying it's gonna be great or even good, but you have to have an open mind cause you can never know until you play. I read about this in Game Informer a few months ago and it looks very interesting.
