Fallout 3 Officially Updated to 1100 Written Wednesday, January 21, 2009 by Alan Pettit Well, a lot of news about the achievements and images for Fallout 3 has broken over the last few days, but everything can be put to rest as xbox.com has officially updated to 1100 with the four new achievements. Currently only the 360 version of the game has been updated, though the achievements have been confirmed for both platforms. Update: Sorry guys, I was under the impression everyone already knew the release date and price! Operation: Anchorage will be available the 27th for 800MSP. Please note: Whenever we add DLC achievements to a game, the checklist for the game will be broken to anyone who was using it before the additions. We do not know the cause, but to fix the glitch, simply delete the checklist (hit the Red X from the "My Achievements" link) and then re-enable and re-check your achievements. We apologize for this inconvenience.

As for people who compare price to achievement points, if that's the only reason you play games then obviously DLC is pointless due to the small amount of points they offer, so why moan that there is only 100 additional points? Looking forward to the DLC (must find time between F3 & RE5 to go to work!) Seems good value compared to the price of other DLC these days, GoW2 being the perfect example! I read an article somewhere that said the new operation anchorage was to add hours of gameplay. well i played it and completed it, in about 2-3 hours. also a dissapointment is the achievements you pay 800 ms points for it and only get 100 achievement points. they could have added more achievements due to there being files you can collect i collected 8 of 10 of them they could have made them an achievement like the bobbleheads, anyway the over missions and gameplay were pretty sweet but as for the value of it, it wasnt worth it, hopefully the on next month the PIT i believe it is called will be better and longer!!! |
