Fallout 3's Operation Anchorage DLC Gets Priced

Fallout 3's Operation Anchorage DLC Gets Priced
Written Thursday, January 08, 2009 by James Parkin

Well guys, this one slipped under our radar earlier today, along with releasing some screens (see here) for the Operation Anchorage DLC, Bethesda also released pricing, and a rough release date.

According to Pete Hines, Vice President of Public Relations and Marketing, the DLC, "will be available for Xbox 360 and Games for Windows later this month for 800 points/$9.99."

So, get your points ready as this will be a purchase no one should miss.

Wish there wasn't a wait, but hell, at least I'll have something to do if the L4D DLC takes a while.

Uh-oh type. "So, get your points ready as this will be a pirchase no one should miss." I think you meant purchase.

Anyway, I was hoping for it to come out sooner. Oh well. At least we have the Fable II DLC coming next week and the new Gears 2 Achievements to hold us. Still, I want to know when Anchorage will begin.

For Fallout 3 I don't mind not playing for achievements. I'm definitly saving points for this one.

I laugh at the people who beg for achievements when a dlc is released. Calm down boys you'll get your 250 points.

This will be coming to my 360 ASAP. They'll get the new achievements in eventually, by then I'll have a 1000 in Fallout 3 anyway. Hope they give us some random ones, those can get addicting. Psyhcotic Prankster for the win!

i am going to laugh at anyone who complains about the price, it's FALLOUT 3, your goddamn game of the year, if you can't shell out ten bucks for quality RPG DLC, then how are you on the internet?

Not even expensive compared to some DLC. It's supposed to be 20 for the GTA4 DLC.

On the Fallout 3 wiki it said the release would be Jan 15th but it no longer states that. Boo. I'll most likely buy it regardless if it has achievements or not. Allthough I really hope it does.

I would have gladly paid another 60 for FO3...so and extra 30 for all the DLC isn't so bad!

800 for 2 hours gameplay? That's not cool, although not as bad as Bring Down The Sky. I'll still get it though.

@33 They haven't said how many hours of gameplay will be added, so why don't you shut your fucking mouth.

Thursday, January 08, 2009 @ 09:44:45 PM

Even if it was 2 hours, it would be worth it, i waited 10 years from the 2nd game and it is worth any penny. How many have even played the first and second fallout?

Thursday, January 08, 2009 @ 09:49:23 PM

Oh, also I have the 360 version and the PC version, if i buy the DLC it will be linked to my gamertag so i will be able to get it on the PC version at the same time? for the price of 800 ms p's?

Later this month?? =(

Why!?

Dude, this game owns my life...Again..Not even Oblivion kept me this entertained for so long..70+ Hours to beat the game. Level 20, all bobble heads, all behemoths, most unique weapons and armor, and a lot of books (finding them all would be re-f***ing-diculous!).

I heart this game. Operation Anchorage should be brilliant as the game itself.

They really should make this the second game ever to have 1750 that could be 250 points per expanstion but this game is worth it points or no points =D

but am i right in saying that the dlc in march is going to have the lvl cap change and the differnt ending? cuz i dont see why they made this dlc first rather that the one that fixes the problems with the games ending... but im probably going to get this dlc anyway just to use my leftover points from the fable dlc, i realy want the fallout dlc but i think i wont enjoy it with the problems still there

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
