| The game has a pretty cool art style to it, but asides from that, it looks like a fairly standard hack n slash. |

Yeah, in Southern California there are tons of Hollywood Video's still around. You can find the closest Hollywood Video to you by using their "Store Locator" on their site. http://www.hollywoodvideo.com/storelocator/#startaddress |

| I remember HWood Video and Gamecrazy just down the road (worked at Hwood for a bit). But alas, 'tis no more. Those figures look awesome either way, but I'd rather pick them up offa ebay instead of pre-ordering the game to get one. I've loved the show since it first aired, and the game looks cool, but not quite ready to throw down a pre-order on it when SF4 an RE5 are coming out so soon. |

This is a response to Comment #5 by ovoon7: It beats me why everyone is making a big deal out of it; the anime community AND the video gaming community. It's basically just a deal Spike TV made with Madhouse Studios (a Japanese animation studio) to produce an original anime with as much style as possible, fusing the modern American perspective of what is "badass" with the Japanese staple of samurai and ninja. In return, it suffers from a complete lack of originality, but they hope to drum up attention with blood, gore, sex and Samuel L. Jackson. Basically, it's marketing in its crudest form, and it will likely work for the video game too. I can't say I'm too impressed with any of this series' developments. |

Im sorry but Coments #5 & #21, you both must live in a sad poor world, the anime is something a slight different from the norm and it works im guessing by your comments you've never seen it all i have to say is for shame *sigh* its an awesome anime with one problem its too short 5 episodes in my opinion they could have dragged it out longer but either way i for one am waiting eagerly for this game and can only hope we being in the uk can get preorder figurines like the rest. sorry for rant just got up and i sure enjoy the afro lol =P |

| I just watch too much anime to be wasting my time with shameless marketing strategies; it's only different from the norm because it's really American in style, only animated by Madhouse like The Boondocks. I put it on the same level as the rest of the American anime-likes, except Spike doled out extra cash in favour of authenticity even though a non-Japanese studio would've animated it for a fraction of what Madhouse asked for. |

It's an action figure if it's poseable. It's a figurine if it's not. That's my two cents, anyway . . . I'm unfamiliar with Afro Samurai beyond the involvement of Jackson and Spike. The game looks like it will, at best, be good but not great. The figurines looks really good, but they're not enough to make me want to throw down money for the game. |

It looks good but after xmas and new years the wallet not very fat, so my money is going on the new Street Fighter special thing. If it's good I might just buy the game though. And to comment #31 what type of systems do you guy's rock in Germany like PAL or NTSC cant you order from the net or through friends a copy. Some games that I got from Play Asia where region free, or do you mean that they are Banned. Cause I live in Australia and some games dont come here as well because for some reason there must be one, there is no R18 for video games. Movies an DVD's etc are fine just not games |

| I am really looking forward to this game, but to all those who say that the Anime is good, WTF? Just because its got Mr Jackson and The Gza doesn't make it good. Here's a fact for you... it has all the depth of a teaspoon, Period! Want to watch a good anime? May I recommend 'Basilisk' Now that's a kick ass anime with a proper story! |

@ 37 You can't compare a 5 part series to a full series, well, 24 episodes. They have 5x the time to develop a story. Afro was more about a quick story with lots of bloodshed. I really liked the art and with the way anime is going these days (a few eps of story with tons of filler eps) it was nice to watch something that wasn't full of filler. |

You're just not watching the right kinds of anime, Demon. I'm guessing you're watching a lot of young Shounen Jump anime or stuff for kids, like Naruto or Bleach where maintaining a full story is purely optional considering its target audience; they just need to keep the show going on TV and it gets instant ratings from the kids. More obscure stuff such as Ghost Hound, Moyashimon, Natsume Yuujinchou, Real Drive or Telepathy Shoujo Ran are able to focus purely on the intended nature and story without anything frivolous. In general I'd suggest you look at the category of anime called "Seinen" which is aimed at young adults primarily. You won't get as much action, though... So if you're more about the action, then look for stuff serialized in Shounen Sunday rather than Shounen Jump; H |

| Im going to skip, im sure its going to be a letdown. Remember how the outfit went. Before the demo cameout it was Holy shit this is the best game ever OMG NEVER GET ANOTHER GAME. Or remember too human. Also i would like to keep actors out of my video games. They dont belong there, before you know it your going to have Tom Cruise games about being crazy. Or a Brit Spears game about getting pregnant, not caring about your child, and trying to get back in to the spotlight. YAY jump on the bandwagon |
