Mirror's Edge Demo Time Trial Available to All

Mirror's Edge Demo Time Trial Available to All
Written Tuesday, December 16, 2008 by Dan Webb

Don't own Mirror's Edge yet? Wanted to see what all the fuss was about with the time trials? Well now you can thanks to EA and DICE who've unlocked that aspect of the Mirror's Edge demo.

Players can now unlock the time trials by entering any 16 digit code they like (i.e. 0000-0000-0000-0000) when it prompts them for it. This code and whatever you type in will work on previously and newly downloaded demos.

Give it a shot; it seems to be the Marmite of the gaming world at the moment.

I took this off my hard drive already, but If it's not just playing through the demo layout as fast as possible, I guess another go at it wouldn't be SO bad...

I've already played and completed the game, it was fun and something a little different. I found it a bit too frustrating to go for all the time trial achievements though.

Time trial is how this game should be played and definitely add a lot of replay value to the game... my first run through each level and i mad it into top 100... would love to perfect my times some more to make it to top 10 :P

I'll give it a go, unless I'm having too much fun on 'Dash of Destruction'.

I deleted the demo earlier, looks like I'll need to re-download it.

Already played and beaten the game. I did also play the demo. I don't know why time trials weren't unlocked from the beginning in the demo. IMO, that was just stupid.

Damn it, I just DL the Mirror's Edge demo recently and thought I wouldn't have access to the Time Trials. Now I gotta re-DL it again...

*shrug* Maybe it'll be better than the other part of the demo. Guess I'll download it and see.

I'm not interested in this game any more. They should have made those trials public from the start. Why didn't they do that?

OH THATS RIGHT THEY WANT YOU TO DOWNLOAD IT TWICE TO INCREASE THE CHANCE YOU BUY THE GAME.

Stupid EA and their code-unlockable stuff...

Poll

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
