Pearl Jam's Debut Album '10' Heading to Rock Band

Pearl Jam's Debut Album '10' Heading to Rock Band
Written Monday, December 15, 2008 by Dan Webb

Harmonix and MTV Games today announced that Pearl Jam's 1991 debut album, "10" which sold 12 million copies worldwide, will be offered for download in the Rock Band Music Store day-and-date with the re-issue of the album in stores on March 24, 2009.

The album, described as "one of the cultural touchstones of the 1990s" will feature the following 10 tracks which takes the album count up to 11; with "Alive" already available on the Rock Band 2 disc.

1. Once
2. Even Flow
3. Why Go
4. Black
5. Jeremy
6. Oceans
7. Porch
8. Garden
9. Deep
10. Release

It seems as if Harmonix are right on the button with the classic 90's rock with Nirvana's "Nevermind", Foo Fighters' "Colour and Shape" and now Pearl Jam's "10" all featuring as DLC in recent weeks. All we need now is some "Cigarettes and Alcohol" or "What's The Story Morning Glory" and you can relive the best of the decade in your own living room.

you can leave the rest in your living room??? WTF?? "What's the story morning glory?" is hardly an album worth mentioning for that decade. what about The Downward Spiral, RATM, Siamese Dream, Aenima, Sublime, Pinkerton, Korn, etc.??? all of which have influenced the music that is being made today... oh,... and yes thank god for Ten! what an amazing album... keep em coming!

Have to agree with #8, good album but so many stones to line the pool of classic 90's music, but we gotta wait to find out what might come from Harmonix. We may see these bands soon.

Talk about your generic names for songs...

ive only heard even flow, but ill probably pick up the rest of them.

Lol #8. The only thing Ko(insert backwards R because we're different)n and Aenima influenced was their own generic, going no where music. You might as well add Limp Bizzzkit to that list.

BUT, I do agree with you on RATM and Sublime. They were definitely unique in their own ways.

On topic...Another amazing choice for an album.

#17:

Aenima generic huh? Funny, because I can't seem to really find anyone who can compare it to anything except, just Tool. Korn, however, is lame. But to say that Tool is generic is pretty silly. Limp Bizkit is also the shits..(they suck)

Oh! and Black is my favorite song by them. I would sing that song everyday on RB. Pretty sweet, though I am not as heavily into Pearl Jam as my parents are, they're still good from the songs I do like.

this is friggin awesome! and i will agree with the people calling for some Korn, Tool, and Rage.... and without a doubt i'll take some sublime, i got GH:WT without a second thought just based on "Santeria" and "Hey man, nice shot" and as much as i dont like it "Morning Glory" IS a classic 90's album.

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
