Fallout 3 ''Operation Anchorage'' DLC Unveiled Written Thursday, December 11, 2008 by Alan Pettit IGN just unveiled an interview with Jeff Gardiner, lead producer of the Fallout 3 expansions, wherein he details the first of three DLC packs coming in January, titled Operation Anchorage. The DLC is set to add 4-5 hours of gameplay, new armors, weapons, achievements and a new perk, Covert Ops! There will also be a patch released just prior to the DLC to fix some current in-game bugs. It was also confirmed that the third (and final?) DLC pack will increase the level cap past 20. No Dogmeat armor still, sadly. Operation Anchorage will be a simulation, so upon download a new quest and map marker will be added, allowing you to access a new terminal and take part in this simulated experience, as the battle for Anchorage happened prior to the beginning of the Fallout 3 storyline. Some people play for fun, others to boost their score, whatever takes your fancy is up to you, i'm a bit of both! Some games are easier to get points on than others, you'll figure that one out don't worry! Not got Fallout 3 yet, definately a must have from what i've seen/read/heard, unfortunatly it came out prior to GOW2 & COD:W@W & my child needs feeding & clothing occasionally so had a tough decision, touch wood i'll pick it up in the new year, and DLC is always a plus when looking for new games, anyone know the approx. play time on the game minus any form of DLC? I appreciate everyone takes different amounts of time but a rough estimate would be awesome if someone could get back to me! |

Not that I would question them if it were, but it's it takes a lot of work to pump this shit out. I love all this DLC for GTA, Fallout, and Fable. So glad I don't buy my multi plat games for PS3, they get little to no DLC and they tend to be broken (Fallout, Orange Box, etc) or at least look worse (GTA). |

How are people supposed to be able to try the new perks if they are already a level 20? As for the price, I have no qualms with it.
