Well yeah, but I bought Lips under the mistaken (at the time) impression that the mics would also work in RB2 (I thought they were wireless USB mics, like with a dongle or something.) So it's good to know that they'll work eventually, even if it's not right this second.
Also, there are three Y's in "Mayyday." ^_^ |

damn. After I sell LIPS and its 2 mics. I already 1000'd the game so I dont think Ill be buying it back, but I wanted to keep the mics if they were going to work with other games. And since they didnt at the time I took them in with it.

#6, Not sure as I haven't bought Lips (was waiting for this very news before i did :D) so I don't know how much effect not having motion sensitive mics has on making the game playable.
If it is impossible to do certain sections then I wouldn't think there would be a RB/GH:WT microphone patch. |

LIPs mics ROCK. they should go further than compatibility, and use the motion sensors, for percussion, and star power |

MaYYdaY you don't seem to understand that the mics you own are never going to work with rockband. Microsoft is going to let out an updated version of lips with new rockband compatible mics. |

Wait, where in did it say only new Lips mics would be RB2 compatible? The way I read the article, Harmonix was going to patch the RB2 software itself to work with existing Lips mics.
Wouldn't that defeat HMX's whole stance on open controller standards if only new mics worked? |
