Microsoft Announce ' Holiday Deal of the Week' Written Tuesday, December 02, 2008 by Dan Webb Microsoft yesterday announced, the "Holiday Deal of the Week" promotion that will run throughout December, giving you chance to pick up certain listed premium content for a fraction of the price. First up for the promotion is the Halo 3 Legendary Map Pack which is now currently available for only 400 Microsoft points. The Legendary Map Pack usually weighs in at 600 points so you'll be receiving a respectable 33% discount but will only be this price for one week. This deal is open to all Xbox Live Gold members and available to ALL Xbox Live regions ... Yes, I did say all. Maybe this is Microsoft's reaction to the hundreds, if not thousands of upset punters regarding the Black Friday Xbox Live sales only being open to US residents. Watch out for Bank Holiday Xbox Live sales for the English, St Patricks day sales for the Irish and Thanksgiving Day sales for the Canadians next year.
