Monday, November 17, 2008 @ 01:33:15 PM That's good news, although I've never had a problem with controls on RTS games. I am intreagued to see the difference though. |

Monday, November 17, 2008 @ 01:42:08 PM @4, why are there so many pesamistic gamers in the world, if you like playing games, and i assume anybody on this site does, what is the purpose of hating on everything that comes out before it even comes out. i understand that a lot of games get hyped up and fall way short, but so what. if it sucks then the game and the sales will suffer. no point bitchhing and moaning about it. i mean does your life suck so bad that you really need to beat up on everything else (especially something you supposedly like) to feel better about yourself |

Monday, November 17, 2008 @ 01:43:27 PM I still have yet to play a console RTS. I always ignore them. They seem too complicated for the way I like to play my videogames. My friened got EndWar though and loves it. Maybe ill finally play an RTS with Halo Wars... |

Monday, November 17, 2008 @ 01:48:49 PM @#8 Well, endwar doesn't really use the controller. All you have to do is say what you want and your units will do it for you. Not really complicated.. |

Monday, November 17, 2008 @ 02:26:52 PM @ #10 I hope that spelling error was intentional. If not, you should be slapped. Anyway, I am excited about Halo Wars! This will be the first RTS I've played since Star Wars: Empire at War and Homeworld 2. |

Monday, November 17, 2008 @ 03:37:07 PM Ensemble is one of the best developers on the planet and I'm confident that Halo Wars will more then deliver. |

Monday, November 17, 2008 @ 04:09:49 PM Ensemble, too me, is in the top two RTS developers (cant decide between Ensemble and Blizzard) Can not wait for halo wars! And for those blasting console RTS controls, go take a gander (yes I said gander) at Command and Conquer 3: Kanes Wrath. That too me at least already revolutionized RTS on the console (not Tiberium Wars, Kanes Wrath is totally different) If it's true that people who played Age of Mythology (my second favorite RTS game) now prefer the console controls over PC, one more reason i cant wait |

Monday, November 17, 2008 @ 04:26:29 PM I'm excited about this title, not because of its Halo franchise, but because it seems a lot of effort is going into this. I'm avid strategy gamer (anyone remember Masters of Magic?) and tend to play most of my strategy games on the pc. I've yet to find a strategy game that played well on a console. LOTR BFME 2 was pretty nice, but left me wanting some more. I'm hoping they get it right. Also, I remember Age of Mythology and while I thought it was great, I felt it paled in comparison to Star Wars Galactic Battleground.

Monday, November 17, 2008 @ 04:36:50 PM Halo made fpp casual friendly and spawned games with self regenerating health. Also it spawned funnies evil creatures in games. What can they do eith RTS? |

Monday, November 17, 2008 @ 06:38:12 PM If this wasn't a Halo game there wouldn't be so many pricks wanting to to fail...Just wait for it to come out. Complain after you've actually PLAYED IT. It's being made by a damn good company. If you don't intend to play it, shut up and move on. Your opinion is meaningless here. |

Monday, November 17, 2008 @ 07:06:54 PM @#7 i'm not hate mongering on Halo Wars to make myself feel better. I love RTS' but i have never seen a console version to pull it off and i DONT think it can be done. Whatever happened to being humble? If dick head producer man is going to tell me that this game will REVOLUTIONIZE console RTS gaming before its even been released. Then dare i say, i can tell him it won't. we will see who is right. To me its all a bunch of Public Relations Steam. We see it ALL the time. |

Monday, November 17, 2008 @ 07:19:03 PM I dont recall Halo 1,2 or 3 revolutionising the FPS genre!! they were all boring, stale and generic!! Bungie y dont u make a good game and people who actually know about games will like it, cumon FHM as a Quote on the back of Halo 3 are u kidding me! Bungie stop kissing ur own arse and make a great game that lasts more than a few hours with a storyline that actually makes people care instead of winging it! Then people who actually play a variety of games will kiss ur arse 4 u, insted of 12 year old kids who dont know any better, or people who can only play Halo 3 or CoD 4-5. P.S. Gears 2.... OMG... Gears 2... OMG... Doms and his wife scene, eat ur heart out hollywood! best scene EVER! |

Monday, November 17, 2008 @ 07:19:17 PM @24 , well maybe they shouldn't have called it Halo Wars. It kinda comes with the territory if your going to spin off a FPS game into an RTS. They could have made a new franchise- not halo related. Of course that wouldn't make as much money would it? So when's the Halo racing game coming out? |

Monday, November 17, 2008 @ 07:24:02 PM #10. Your statement is true, especially since Starcraft II is slated to be coming out roughly the same time. This is Ensemble Studios last game (at least in their current form). Hopefully they have had enough time for their statement to be true, so they can go out like Johnson...with a bang. |

Monday, November 17, 2008 @ 08:04:02 PM 30, jz i lffd hrd. :p I have to agree though, I think all this bashing is unnecessary. We REALLY should wait for the game to come out and THEN make a judgment. I'm not trying to be justice man, nor am I trying to come off as it be but there's a lot of valid points pertaining to the people ripping on it. It's just kind of unfair. |

Monday, November 17, 2008 @ 09:16:48 PM I enjoy RTS, but I won't pick this up just because they slapped Halo on it... in fact I won't be getting it because of that very reason. This game will NOT revolutionize anything. Halo isn't even the best FPS to begin with. |

Tuesday, November 18, 2008 @ 03:48:59 AM Good to hear but I shall remain sceptical, I fail to see how a controller could be better than a mouse and keyboard when it comes to RTS Games. I'll get the game and see but I'm not oging to hold my breath |
