Ensemble: Closure Was Not a Halo Wars Vote of No Confidence

Ensemble: Closure Was Not a Halo Wars Vote of No Confidence
Written Monday, November 17, 2008 by Dan Webb

Halo Wars' Lead Designer Graeme Devine told x360a last week that the closure of the studio was not a vote of no confidence for the title that is due to hit next year.

In the interview, due to be published today, Devine responded "None at all by Microsoft as far as I can tell." When asked what the real reason was, Devine simply stated that "Microsoft is refocusing where it’s put its head count. Honestly, it’s as boring as that. It’s one of those things that’s not anything to do with the studio and is all to do with numbers and places and geography."

Check back later for the full unedited interview with Halo Wars Lead Designer Graeme Devine. In the meantime, check out the latest preview of the latest build here.

I don't know what to think about this, but I don't think that this will be a very good game ... console RTS games never work very well.

While I am a fan of RTS games and would like to see this title come to fruition... I am afraid of how it will handle on the 360. Hopefully there will be a PC version.

@#5
It seems like they built the game from the ground up with the idea that it was solely for the console. There was discussion about that in the previous article about Halo Wars

It annoys me how everyone seems to think this game is going to be crap. You need to play the thing before you rule it out!

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
