I used to play Resident Evil on the PS1 or w/e it was, then I got a gamecube, I then collected the games for that. Cos I missed playing them...After I got my Xbox Original I didnt care for it anymore...but...I am so falling back in love with these games :D |

i've been waiting for this for over 4 years... and it gets more and more stupid...
now crazy people can ride motorcycles? yet can't differentiate between right and wrong...they may as well be hell's angels.
..and whats with all this adding white people into africa to cool the 'racism' jets that sprayed when they saw the game was 'about killing black people' [lol, fucking idiots]

#16. I can agree that the concept is getting odd. But for Christ' sake did you not like RE4? It is still my favorite game to this day. It's a lot of fun to play, and is practically a perfected game in every way, as this will be as well. You will probably be the only person in 2009 to not own this game, and you officially are a major douchebag. |

So after years of people turning into zombies from exposure to a virus, giant snakes, rapid dogs with half their face missing, genetic experiments that create tyrants and Nemesis, Wesker managing to repeatedly rise from the dead, a conspiracy involving ancient insects unearthed to brainwash a village in Spain into following a leader who can turn into some giant spider type monster, one of his minions being morphed into a giant plant and all other types of mentalness, its the thought of some infected people having the motor skills to ride motorcycles that you can't believe?!

Resident Evil has moved away from it's original "Zombies" and the new form they transform into is purely because it's a different virus, thus it will have a different effect on the recipient. Technology advances as do virus', not to mention the fact it's A GAME!
This isn't real life (thankfully!) therefore if Capcom decide it's a good idea to change the series then so be it, i'll certainly be pestering the other half for this as a birthday present and cannot wait! It's been a long time since Resident Evil 4, which in my opinion has helped evolve the Survival Horror genre.
Kudos to Capcom for changing things, and it's fantastic to see Wesker back in the fold, one of the best 'bad guys' from any series, despite the fact we see and/or hear very little of him.
Roll on '09 . . . . . |

my only problem with this (and RE4) was the whole Parasite thing. i mean come on that was just stupid, i mean i would understand if it was like a parasite created by the (T, G, or P) virus, but a ancient dug up parasite?

Well considering they are pretty similar to the infected people in Resident Evil 4 and they drove vans at you in certain points of that game, I'd guess that they're still mostly human and capable of doing human functions.
Oh and also as KILL KR4ZY said "IT'S A GAME!!" If it facilitates a good action packed scene I'm happy for them to wave realism goodbye. |
