Bad Company Community Choice DLC Pack Now Available

Bad Company Community Choice DLC Pack Now Available
Written Monday, November 10, 2008 by Dan Webb

A while ago we reported that DICE were going to release an autumn map pack for their hugely popular shooter, Bad Company. Well, today is that day and now The "Community Choice Pack" [named that way because of the public vote DICE held] is available for download and for free as well.

I'm not sure what EA said at their last company meeting to their wholey owned developers last year, but DICE and Criterion are leading the way in game support so long after the game's release and not trying to milk every last cent out of us. Either way, kudos.

Conent: Battlefield: Bad Company™ Community Choice Pack
Price: Free
Availability: All Xbox LIVE regions
Dash Text: [ESRB: T (Teen) ALCOHOL REFERENCE,STRONG LANGUAGE,VIOLENCE] The community has spoken! Battle it out on Par For the Course and Acta Non Verba, two single player levels turned into playgrounds for fierce multiplayer Conquest warfare as chosen by the players. This FREE map pack also contains the two DICE choices Crossing Over and Ghost Town, bringing the total number of maps to four. See you on these new battlefields, soldiers!

@ #3 - It would appear that way according to Major Nelson's blurb on the game. I presume it fell behind schedule and they released it this week to finish it off.

Poll

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
