LEGO Batman Demo Now Available

LEGO Batman Demo Now Available
Written Wednesday, November 05, 2008 by Dan Webb

If Vigilante 8, today's Xbox Live Arcade game or the Call of Duty: World at War Beta didn't take your fancy, then maybe the latest LEGO Batman demo will; released only a few short hours ago.

Step in to the blocked shoes of the caped crusader and sample its delights and get a feel of the real game. It's the best way to gauge whether the game truly is for you. Plus it kills a few hours before the Gears of War 2 launch. And no, I won't shut up about it until the game's out.

Content: LEGO Batman: The Videogame Demo
Price: Free
Availability: All Xbox LIVE regions
Dash Text: [ESRB: E10+ (Everyone 10+) MILD CARTOON VIOLENCE] Download the demo! Fight the mayhem as superheroes Batman and Robin, or spread anarchy as one of the city’s many supervillians…all in LEGO form. Build and use new gadgets and weapons and take control of classic Batman vehicles as you battle your way through Gotham!

Who needs time to kill until Gears 2? I don't have Fable 2 and Fallout 3 yet, but I still have tons of games I need to play.

I've 1k'd all the Lego games (excluding Star wars II since I've done TCS) and I have to say, this was the best for gameplay.

Fun game, but a little to late. Most people have played this by now, but for the Lego fans who haven't played this, I say try it and you'll love it.

Poll

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
