Subzero's was the only half-way decent one. They've toned down this game too much. Doesn't feel like the same brutalness of MK. It must be Teen. |

Yes, this game is a plea for help from Midway and DC. Midway is in the toilet trying to get out (financially) and DC is hoping this will give them some kind of good rep.
After seeing this farce of a MK game, I pray this is the end of Midway. |

Stonking terrible. And I've owned all of them (including one MK2 arcade cabinet). It looks like the Joker's was the only good one, with Sub-zero at least looking decent. They are all too short compared to the more recent games; it takes away from the humiliation factor.
I say they need to release two versions:

Hey guys, remember that every character has two finishing moves so there will totally be 20-30 fatalities. So they likely might have not shown us the best ones! For example The Joker has two fatalities and both of them are cool. Here's the first:

ha. on youtube is shows "killer" fatalities for batman and superman. theres actually a couple different ones for superman, but yeah, they're way better than these. picture quality is crap, but they're there so you can go see if the game is going to be as crappy as everyone's saying it will be.

Hmm...Call me a wuss, but I don't like all the usual blood/gore. And yet, these moves do seem pretty lame. Subzero's and Catwoman's are probably my favorite out of what are shown, though. |

They are going to ruin Mortal Kombat. With Street Fighter 4 coming out Midway should have countered with a stand alone MK game with all the old features revamped for the next gen consoles. And DC sucks except for the usual suspects. |

But I have to agree though that it has been a small downfall all the time with Mortal Kombat, a bit by bit. But I think that this is will be a decent game and the confirmed pure MK game, Mortal Kombat 9 will be overwhelming.

Honestly who the fuck cares. If you wanted good fatalities so bad then maybe you could have supported Midway all these years instead saying every game since 3 sucked. Then they wouldn't have to appeal to more age groups. Get over it. I love how fatalities govern the quality instead of gameplay. |

Don't knock it till you have played it! DC is the only reason why it is rated Teen. Midway way wanted it to be Mature but DC is a bunch of pansies. The official MK sequel will be out in 2009 or 2010... MK vs. DC is not a MK story related sequel

Is that all most of you care about, is the blood factor? No wonder violent games these days get a bad rep...I'm no fan of either DC or MK moreso than I am of Marvel or SF (where were the blood an fatalites in MVC2? Oh wait, weren't any!
