Wow, I have been talking about the next MK game for years and everytime they release something the sadder I get. WOW BAD! Superman saying "Magic!?"...I cringed pretty badly.
Plus, the stupid ass up close random kombat button pressing and freefall mode where you again random combo buttons...pretty sad about this.
I was going to pass on Gears and buy this, I think I'm changing my mind. |

| Im still going to play it..alot. I mean everyone knows MK would own DC anyday...I think The Joker and The Dark Knight movie is what gave them the idea for this. I would rather see a new Marvel Vs DC or atleast Marvel Vs MK. |

| I find it rather pathetic that the journalist questions that Superman can be hurt by magic. He's been killed before, and magic has always been a major weakness of his. The reason magical villains haven't permanently killed him is because he's a major hero, not a sideline character. |

| Magic is a real weakness for Superman, not an excuse for how he can be hurt by MK characters. Pretty much every MK character uses magic in some way or another. |

i know...that DC was directly involved with the development of this game, but when they wake up from whatever deep coma they fell into and see what kinda mess this is going to be, there's gonna be round the world cockslaps in that office. but the knob-end will have an embossed DC logo on it. suckers. i can play Ultimate MK3 if i want to waste time with bad fighting mechanics.

I thought there was a rumor that they had to remove Joker's fatality we all love (BANG! Oh wait, wrong gun, hoo hoo hoo, BANG! HAHAHA!) to get it into a teen rating.
Maybe it is just a rumor, cause a point-blank headshot is a bit too graphic for a Teen rating, at least as far as the ratings go. Maybe it will be snuck in and we'll see a story about that. |

Marvel vs. DC or Street Fighter vs. MK but this game is looking to be really lame. they couldn't have done a better job with the hair?? just look at wonder woman. thats a lot of frickin hair spray!

| @37 makes a very good point when has a fighting game ever had a solid story. Soul caliber was pretty weak, dead or alive etc all pretty abismal. All great fighting games. |
