mmm... maybe i'm the only one, but books and such telling the back story to a game "before" its released doesnt really appeal to me. if i find the game is great then i might be interested in reading about it, but not before hand, not when there are so many other really good things out there to read.

Well if you're interested in the game I feel that it's worth a pick up so you know what you're getting yourself into, just like the Dead Space comics....however it was rather weird when the released the additional prequel piece, the DVD, after the game was already out

I think I'll go to Newbury Comics and pick it up. I'm very much on the fence about this game and an interesting back story might be the push I need.

This trend is one I am starting to enjoy. I have read the gears of war comic that is out. I am in the process of reading a few WoW ones and this is just another step in the awesome direction.

DAMN, I just got an hearth attack. I thought that the game would be released earlier or something :P. But it's only a comic book -_-

Only a comic book? It's a shame no one here can read.

Poll

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
