Free Civ Rev Map Pack Now Available

Free Civ Rev Map Pack Now Available
Written Friday, October 17, 2008 by Dan Webb

Are you bored of the same old Civilization Revolution maps? Want something new at no additional cost? Well, today is your lucky day.

Today 2K and Microsoft have added a single player map pack, entitled Brave New Worlds  to the Marketplace that features 4 new maps, each with its own unique geography. The map pack lets you "explore the labyrinthine mountains of "Mazeworld," fight for the dominant position in "Chokepoint" or meet your foes on the uniquely-shaped "Donutworld".

So if that takes your fancy, get it downloaded ... I mean, who can say no to free stuff, huh?

I rented this I really enjoyed it. I'm not an RTS kind of guy but I found that I kind of got better as I went on. I'm not sure when I'll get this but if I ever decide to rent this or buy used sometime I'll probably pick this up.

This is one of my favorite games, no chance of selling. I downloaded both packs, my only complaint being that i can't play multiplayer on any of them. Hopefully just needs a patch or something, because there is a scenario section when you make a game (which is where the map pack and scenario pack show up in single player), but it says I don't have any multiplayer scenarios. I don't see why not...

Poll

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
