I see this as a great marketing ploy by EPIC.... Basically by doing this they know everyone will be getting the LE so they can have all of this.... The only downfall I see is that I know on Gears 1 even after the DLC maps became free ppl still didnt have them downloaded so they got booted from games for not having those maps.... If this is only obtainable thru buying Gears 2 on release then alot of ppl will be screwed if there getting a copy at xmas.

Gold guns sound cool, but imagine how visible you will be to the other team? Sure, it's not a stealth-y game but most characters will probably blend into the enviroments. But seeing some gold blur fly across the battlefield, you'll know if it's an enemy. (If no one on your team has it) |

I have the replica lancer "pre-ordered" along with the LE version of the game (since its only $10 more) so I wonder if I'll be able to receive the downloadable map pack. Since I did technically pre-order the game (I just received a $59.99 discount). I could care less about the gold hammerburst or getting the game a day or two late. I also wonder though, if I can just attend the launch event to get the promo code for the gun... |

I don't get it. How could one unlock the gold hammerburst on november 6 if the gears of war 2 will be on sale until november 7?. If the requeriment to unlock it, is to have the gold lancer, then, you can't unlock it with Gears of War 1, the day must be 8 or 9, since the games is retarded in a few cities. |

.... The Hammerburst Is Terrible as a weapon on gears two on gears one it was ok but good but A golden hammerburst is good because even tho the golden lancer is easy to get some people will give anything for that so the hammerburst that is hard to get well u work it out.
But On a whole this was a marketing ploy because they will realse both but u will have to pay ms points Somewere betweem 100-1000. |
