Mega Man 9 Hits Marketplace After All

Mega Man 9 Hits Marketplace After All
Written Wednesday, October 01, 2008 by Dan Webb

It was the game that everyone thought had been swept under the rug. The game that was originally announced to drop today but the lack of word from Microsoft on the usual Monday XBLA game announces made us all go "uh oh!" Despite all that, our little friend is back and mega as ever, hell, you can even download him right now ... I suppose the only question that remains is... Where the hell is War World now?

Here's all the info, right from Major Nelson himself:

Content: MEGA MAN 9
Price: 800 Microsoft Points
Availability: All Xbox LIVE regions
Dash Text: [ESRB: E (EVERYONE) MILD CARTOON VIOLENCE] Single Player, HD (High Definition). The wait is over! Everyone's favorite side-scroller is back! Mega Man returns to his roots with a new adventure in classic 8-bit style! There are no refunds for this item. For more information, see www.xbox.com/Live/accounts.

That's probably because nobody wants to download it on PSN. My good god people.... Do we really want to play games that throw us back 25 years in gaming?

So when it doesnt get released yet everyone is mad because they want it so bad. Now it is released and everyone is either dissing it or 'getting the trial'. That is plain stupid.

Just like Halo and its DLC, everyone was hyped for it. It comes out and no one cares and they all diss it.

Anyone who hates the game after playing the trial for a few minutes just can't deal with the fact that the game is difficult. NES games don't hold your hand and walk you through giving you a false sense of accomplishment, you actually have to try.

I agree with mozza, there's a reason 8bit gaming died. And i dont mean graphics wise.

Poll

Downloadable content - achievements or no achievements - will you buy it with or without them?
If the content is good, or for a game I love, I'll buy it regardless of whether chievos are included
I'll still buy and play the downloadable content, but achievements would be nice.
Who the hell cares!?
No achievements, no sale ... and that goes for any game ... whether you're GTA or Halo!
Just stop with the DLC achievements full stop ... you're ruining my completion percentage dammit!
